Hi my name is Tyler Ahrens I am a junior from Tivy high school in Kerrville, Texas.  I was moved up for playoffs my freshman year and then started at reciever my sophomore year and got honorable mention. This year as a junior I recieved first team all district. I was named All San Antonio, & Honorable Mention All State. I recieved top performer of the week multiple times in the San Antonio area for recievers. I was nominated for play of the week. I am a very versatile player, this year I returned kicks and punts, I was also a deep snapper. I have played quarterback in the past. I am a good leader and teammate. I hope to play somewhere in college and be a positive influence. I want to go into something in the sports field in college. I have a deep desire to win and it's what drives me to be the best. I'm also a varsity track athlete and compete in the triple jump. I hope as a senior I can lead my team to the top on and off the field.

K-State fan get all buthurt about loosing recruits on twitter announcements. They are just to stupid we were loosing a ton of recruits before twitter too.

Twitter scares and frightens a lot of old people.  I think that plays into the negative perception of the Twitter announcement.

Though, honestly, I think they're lame.  But if a kid wants to do it, whatever.

I like watching the kid commit over the phone to a coach and watching the information leaking out. It like a rat race for media types.

what was james terry's 40? kind of reminds me of him.

After TL committed i found a jterry (collegiate) highlight film, and it stated he ran 4.46 range.  Watching his highlights, it was basically either go deep, Ell avoids rushers and heaves it to wide open terry.  Or Ell pump fakes, terry makes cut and goes deep, Ell dodges rusher about to decapitate him heaves it to wide open jterry...man Ell was great.

as its been stated already we will over sign this class. not sure by how many but it will happen
