This is from the guy that started the same thread....

Quote
I have to say it was not a good experience. I happened to get tickets to the game from a good friend who is a KState graduate. He has awesome seats and a parking pass so my wife and I thought "What a great time."...Well it wasn't. We scored four tickets to the game so we took our 7 year old son and our nephew who is attending KU.

To start off it just felt weird being there. The atmosphere is just odd. I can't even explain it. There were some nice fans sitting around us for the most part but that would change as the game got going. There were some real DBags sitting in front of us.

I looked around the arena and it just isn't Alan Field House. I was SOOOOO glad to be a KU fan. I don't care if we lost. I don't care if we lost every game for the rest of my life at KState. I was still glad walking out being a KU fan. There is something to be said for class and KState doesn't have any.

Before the game even started there was this guy sitting up a few rows and he was really angry and yelling at KU to get off the floor. Over and over he would yell as loud as he could "Get off the floor. Get off the floor now." I'm not even sure why he was doing it. My seven year old son said "Why is that guy insane?" I just laughed.

So as the game started and progressed you could tell KU was shaken a little for whatever reason. I won't ever know. Anyway, every play, every single play they said we fouled them and got away with this or that. It was so ridiculous. I'm not saying we don't have bad fans at all. I'm just saying some of the people I was around just didn't get it. They had no idea what they were talking about.

As the game progressed they became more and more angry and taunting. They were winning yet they just didn't grasp it. Finally at about the 10 minute mark in the second half I felt myself getting really upset. My wife could tell too. Older ladies were yelling in the back of us...just crazy stuff. This guys in front looked back at us and shook their fists out at us. I'm honest here. We did nothing. I didn't want my friend to be embarrassed he had given us the tickets plus we want our son to see what real fans are like and how you should act during a game.

Anyway I take nothing good away from that game. Nothing at all. There were some good fans that new we were friends with a KStater and came up and talked. I appreciated that.

The game itself...it was hard to watch. Very hard to stay. But we stayed for the entire game. There was no way we were going to give them the satisfaction of seeing us leave. I did enjoy seeing KU fans sprinkled through the crowd.

Overall, I would only ever go again to support KU. The fans and the arena just make me uncomfortable....We will get them next time and I still believe in this team.

THAT SON OF A BITCH CALLED US "KITTIES!"

He pretty much nails it, though.  They are hated by most KSU fans in a way that they don't fully comprehend.

I hope the people around the loser who gave 4 tickets to KU fans beat the crap out of him at the next home game.

I have to admit, there's simply no way that we can match the standard ku fanbase meltdown . . . frankly, we're not even close.

For you youngsters who need lessons on how low their self esteem is . . . remember that nearly 20,000 of them gathered in a football stadium to hear a basketball coach tell them from a football dressing room that he was "stayin" . . . upon the news they collectively ran about wailing and crying like children.

That's pretty much all you need to know.

I knew wolves could be crazed, but never knew they could also be hateful.

Just angry animals in general it seems...

Fun fact:
Wolves are in fact merely clinically insane dogs (or crazed in the parlance of our time).  If properly treated they are indistinguishable from an ordinary dog.
