I'm not going to feign outrage.  I mean, eff that CU fan not because of what he said, but because it was to my team.

I'm sure it hurt more because the rawness of the loss, but get thick skin.

Should be easy to let this stuff roll off your back.  I mean, ultimately, Jamar is going to get back to campus, get treated like royalty, bang a bunch of hot chicks, and never have to pay for anything, while the CU guy is gonna go back to his shitty apartment, eat some shitty Spaghetti O's, and surf for some free porn.

Life as a decent D1 athlete should make stupid things like this easy to shrug off.

jamar and frank look like bigtime pussies, imo.

Sports fans are way too protected.  Someone being exceptional at a sport shouldn't give some pimple faced loser license to say some crap they would never say if the person was walking down the street.  The irony is that if you or this dude who was talking crap saw a dude who looked like Jamar walking down the street you wouldn't even look him in the eye out of fear.  However, sitting in the bleachers gives people amazing courage.  One day an athlete is going to break someones face, fans and media will have outrage, I'll think it is funny as eff.

If Lebron would have hit him he would have been my favorite athlete ever.  It seems like we need another Charles Barkley to remind you people to keep your mouths shut about calling people pussies and talking about peoples mothers.

Monday night is going to get ugly, especially after KU wins by 20+ points, and Frank goes into the stands and rips some little pussy white trash kid's head off in defense of T-Rob's mom.

Hey BMW, remember that time when I went on phog and made a tongue in cheek post  about KU fans selling/giving away their tickets to KSU fans for the football game this year? Then you went off on some rant about how it was such a low and cowardly move and how "you used to be a respect KSU poster, blah blah" like I had crossed some sort of an imaginary line?  Don't you find your reaction a bit comical, especially given your history.

Did I say anything after KU prison raped your little juco squad a couple weeks ago?

who cares? something bad about his mom? Frank's comments scare me a bit.

yup. didn't want to say it.

the shirt tucks are going to pounce on this.

They are already all over Frank. I knew a lot would turn on him if things went south, but they are really turning on him over there.

I have a feeling that a lot of people here will go nuclear if Frank is not our coach by summertime and Bill still is. Myself included.

The only way Frank is gone next year is if he takes a different job. He will not be fired.

What if this last thing with CK was basically Frank telling Currie "eff you, you're not kicking him off my team?"

The decision was Currie's, not Frank's. I think the whole "Currie doesn't like Frank" talking point is overblown.

http://goEMAW.com/forum/index.php?topic=10623.msg232373#msg232373

Wow, I was wrong here. I still don't see how this proves that Currie wanted Kelly kicked off the team.

I went after Markieff pretty hard about him and Marcus' fatass mom last year in the OOD and he got to the point where he looked like he was going to come up into the stands after me. Would have been pretty awesome if he had.

Does this go for sportswriters too?  I've been pretty rough on Kellis and was responsible for the infamous Lemon Party remark that the whole joint heard...I'd say it to his face though.  Clarify a bit here for me...

"I'd say it to his face though."

That's the key.  Getting personal with someone while they are on the court/at work is very unfair.  If you wouldn't say it to them in a bar, you shouldn't say it at all. It's also important to note the difference between talking crap and getting personal as evidenced in the Lebron James article.  People talk crap to him every single night, if you talk about a man's mother rough ridin' another dude, I hope you're ready to fight.  There are things you can and can't say and I am pretty sure most know where those lines are, if you don't you probably shouldn't say crap. If I were standing next to Scary Smart and one of those dumb fucks decided to come up, I'd probably laugh when SS got his orbital bone broken and then take him out for a beer after he got out of the hospital and tell him not to be a bitch and sue.  When guys talk crap on the court it is nothing like that, its why dudes can shake hands after the game without going to blows.  What it comes down to is most herbs in the stance have no idea how to talk crap.

I've crossed the line twice and it was in the same game.  At home versus KU, January 1997, my first KU game.  I called Paul Pierce a pussy and a rough ridin' crybaby, he was literally crying tears when he picked up his fourth foul late in the game where Shawn Rhodes rimmed out a half court shot that would have sent the game to overtime.  I firmly believe then and now that I could beat his ass.  That same game I called Scot Pollard's girlfriend a dirty whore, but she started talking crap first.  If he confronted me on that I'm not sure if I would have apologized or taken the ass beating, but I was definitely out of line.

i truly dont think your pierce comments were out of line at all.  if the guy is crying he's a cry baby.  personal or professional who cares, he's a effing cry baby and a pussy.

i continuously called banks floodman a cake eater, obviously in reference to the mighty ducks, until he turned around and acknowledged me at a kstate vs. ku football game when i was in school.  was this also crossing the line?
