honestly, it's fascinating. from a physiology standpoint, what defines us as a KSU fan? some sort of voltage across our neurons? so like  a kstate fan has a resting potential of -65 mv, and a KU fan has a resting potential of -60 mv or something.

pissclams, fire up the research lab! we may have our greatest paper ever!

put this in a spatial context and i'll be third author

Oh, and I am not cool with this season because it's "better than Wooly", I'm ok with it because in the big picture absolutely everything is better than it was under Wooly, and is still pretty good relative to the league.

6-10 will make me pretty angry. 7-9 as well, kind of miffed.

big picture bro.

2012 class will be key.

but big picture shows our current coach is capable of 6-10. which sucks.

Yes. The program as a whole is still in pretty decent shape as long as we don't have a bad defection (McGruds, Samuels) this offseason.

Aren't most coaches capable of 6-10? :dunno:  Especially with a young team in a well matched league?

the worst was people that thought we were doing well back then.

the worst is that people think we are doing poorly now.  and i don't know if the a.d. is smart enough to know that those people are dumbasses.

i think sampson/sutton went 6-10 like once in thirty years combined.

i was kind of hoping frank was a sampson/sutton clone

There's still a chance that Frank will only do it once. :crossfingers:

The thing about KSU is we have just enough success to make it seem really sweet when we are good.

In my 21 or so years of fandom dating back to 1987-88 we have been pretty good at something almost every year.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

it's not just about bad seasons.  i would take several 6-10 seasons from frank if he also made a final four.

Actually, eff it, I'm changing my answer.

I am a fan of this shitty atheletic program because I am not a big enough douche to root for a school I didn't go to.

I am not going to be the guy with the Nebraska hat during football season or the Duke/KU/North Carolina hat during basketball season.

I'd rather wallow in loses and self pitty for my entire life than be THAT rough ridin' pathetic.  There are fans of Florida Atlantic who are better than those douchebags.

I am a glutton for punishment.

I can't honestly remember the last time I was truly happy as a fan.

59-7..?  even a little bit?

not entirely sure i agree with that statement prior to this year but starting next year i 100% agree with it.

Wonderful to be EMAW.

I'm just hopeful saying "I've been to the last three wins over KU" doesn't span 5 years in the near future.
