also, no one uses a stove anymore.  WTF is up with that?  hard to beat a great baked chicken or roast for a weekend meal.

Except for the occasional roast or pizza, I leave the oven work for the wife.  She's the baker.  Baking (bread/cookies/etc) takes too much precision with the recipes.

Hard getting ground beef really ground and broken up so its not more stringy and stuff.  Also sometimes its gets burnt and that sucks.

You can brown beef in the microwave. 

A pastry blender works well to help break it up.

Browning in a microwave  :flush:

Unless you are in a big hurry.  Can go from solid frozen to completely cooked in 5 minutes.  And if you are just dumping the meat in something that covers up most of the flavor, like in a spaghetti sauce, there's no reason to waste time with a pan and a burner.
