What qualifies as an international dish
« on: February 09, 2011, 05:03:09 PM »
Do you have to be outside the U.S. for it to qualify? Would pasta in Italy count? How about a hamburger in Germany? Trying to calculate how many times I've eaten an international dish.

chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes is the national dish.  now look up "inter" and i think you'll have your answer.

Was a def. possibility for a follow up topic. I'm trying to get a working definition of international dish though before doing the math. But I'm sure I've had more than you ever DREAMED of.

What about Outback Steakhouse? Is Australian food count as International, even though it's pretty much American? :ck:

If it smells funny when you microwave it as a RE-heat, it's an international dish.

Me: "talks about any international food he's tried recently:"
Other person: "Oh, I don't really like curry"
Me:

Other person might also say: "Is it like Chinese?"
Where did you get that overnight bag?
