yeah he just double his salary last year, added a 5 year contract, and now a couple of bozo's leave the team and CK lights up and he wants to fire the coach...that sounds like Currie.
I tihkn it's more likely that Currie is not goign to condone this behavior, the football program lost a corner..Byron Garvin if I remember correctly for the same thing...

Currie didn't want to extend Frank's contract, but was forced to due to his success. There is no love lost between the two. They hate each other. The unraveling of the team makes Frank look bad. At some point, Currie might have support he needs to move Frank.

That's one of the other (other) sites talking points, although they were also the ones that were sure Frank wouldn't get a contract extension last year, so they were calling for Curry's head last year, and even held up signs at games asking for Curry to be fired last year. They're goal is to be the first to state something, and have a meltdown before anything even happens so they can say they knew about it first. And honestly they remind me of certain hate groups that get together and try to outdo each other and in the process they make each other more mad and it turns into a vicious cycle where at the end they're marching and flying banners over stadiums asking for peoples heads. It's best just to ignore them, because all they want is to be validated. BTW this post will probably end up over there.

This makes no sense at all, as this is messy and dirty. It presumes either ADJC created the rumor which is idoitic or the incident is true and ADJC leaked it. But is true he did not need to leak this in order to use it to accomplish what you speculate.
The theory fails at all levels + ADJC and UPKS are smart people. Smart people would not even try a JR HS stunt.

While all the thing you say seem to be somewhat common knowlege, I would disagree that ADJC wants to get rid of HCFM just because of just they may not like each other. Just because you don't like a co-worker does not mean you can't work together or think they are bad at their job. ADJC is a very smart dude, I see nothing that tells me he is let personality diffences dictate a coaching decision. Now if things continue to go to hell, he is likely to hire someone that likes when it is his option.

My original point in this thread was based upon the alleged info from other threads on this site. If Curtis has appealed a University decision, it means he has been accused of something. Supposition has led posters to believe he might have failed his third drug test. After everything that has happened to the team, it seems an unusual time for a drug test on Curtis Kelly. Unusual, unless you want to stir up more trouble for the team and its coach. Currie would like to get rid of Frank and get a coach in here that he can control.

I don't doubt that there's probably tension between the two from time to time, as is there's probably tension between Currie and Snyder, it's the nature of the beat. AD's are in fact the coaches boss, and boss/employees don't always get along or see eye to eye on things. But no i don't think Currie somehow fabricated some rumor about Kelly to inadvertently undercut Martin or make him look like he's losing complete control of his team. That is ludicrous to me. Also why would Currie be so obsessed about building Martin a 20 million dollar basketball facility, something Martin desperately wants if he hates him so much? This whole post is completely moronic if you ask me. And really just sad when you think about it.

LOL. Please read your post again. You know, the one where, after kent23 claimed currie wouldn't start a rumor, YOU claimed kent23 was "now agreeing his theory makes no sense." Problem was, that was YOUR theory.
Only in your mind are there only two possible implications for the general position kent23 took. And Currie starting the rumor, or leaking the results is not the exhaustive list, no matter if that is all the further your mind can see.
Indeed, as per your request, I will offer one of potentially many other possibilities that would be consistent with what kent23 claimed (again, I should say that I am NOT AT ALL sold on his theory). For example, perhaps ADJC simply has Frank's program on a shorter leash, and as part of that, is being more proactive/aggressive with drug testing, and has decided to handle positive tests firmly (it is simply not believable that other ADs actually test and enforce their policies to the letter, otherwise, there would be FAR more suspensions).
How's that?
