I think it is fair to concede the league to Texas and Kansas for the remainder of the year. Accordingly we should probably root for events which would leave the Pre-Season B12 Champs in the best position possible at season's end. Specifically, we should be looking to weasel our way into a top 4 seed in the B12 tournament.
The week of Sat 2/12/11 EMAW rooting interest in bold.

Missouri at
Kansas We obviously want the Jayhawks to beat the Tigers tonight as they are one of the stronger teams that we will be battling with for one of the coveted first round byes in the P66 tourney. Lucky for us MU will probabyl get run out of the gym tonight.

Nebraska at
BaylorThough Baylor is leading us in the conference standings we have beaten them and hold the tie-breaker over them. Best case scenario is for Baylor to do well and finish tied with us at season's end, giving the Cats a quality win and still allowing us to get a bye. Plus NU sucks and we want them thoroughly demoralized when we make our trip to Lincoln.
Texas A&M at
ColoradoWe need ATM to lose as much as possible as they hold the tiebreaker over the Cats. Plus, CU has already lost to Nebraska. That means that if KSU can beat NU in Lincoln we will have a tie-breaker over the Buffs if we can manage to beat CU at their place Saturday.
Texas at Oklahoma
This should be a game to expose the Sooners, and that is good for the Cats. We don't need OU getting anymore wins than they already have (how the hell did they win these games BTW?) and we could also use Texas being ranked really high when we roll into Austin and sneak away with another victory over the Horns.
Discuss. Also Saturday games will follow when I feel like it.
