Someone posted a few days ago on this board about a despondent 20 yr old that went missing. To this OK_Cat responded:

seriously, i know this is supposed to be a funny message board and all, but some of the things people said in that thread were rough ridin' appalling.

the guy was found dead today. put yourself in the rough ridin' shoes of his family.

Oh jesus christ shut the eff up. Do you know how many people die every rough ridin' day? I don't either but its a eff ton. And I don't know 99% of them. Why should I care if this guy is dead?

sorry for your loss. Have peace knowing that we are all children of god and our souls continue on forever. I don't believe there is a hell and our perception of heaven has been vastly skewed by christian scare tactics to embed a sense of morals in us. Regardless of how I feel, I'm sure your friend now knows the answers that await us all and that he is no longer suffering. The happiness, ecstasy and joy that he experienced in this life can forever be re-lived in memory.
