A "stress reaction"?

WTF, they can't even be serious.  University of Kansas, where NBA careers go to die.

That's almost as much "I need affirmation and validation" than a typical OH or DocGuyWholeStoletheIdeaForBasketball post.

Need to update vid for Selby.  He'll not only "value his education", but want to stay at the cultural mecca called Lawrence.

Selby really needs to just cut his losses and be a late first round pick this year. His stock will only continue to plummet, and if he stays at KU much longer, he'll end up in the D-League with his KU collectibles fished out of the garbage and put up for sale on Craigslist.

Yes.

Bill will have to work really hard to erase the memory of the Cole Aldrich lesson that played out over the last two years.

The video was posted nearly a year ago, but there's still half a dozen new comments everyday from ku tards. The gift that keeps on giving.

Selby is overrated.

If he had a good coach he would be awesome.  But agreed, so far he is sucking.

Selby is overrated.

Squawk.

How?

That's the argument they're making. He's overrated and needs to stay in the NCAA a little longer.

Do you not think he is overrated? I think if he jumped to the NBA after this season, he would get dominated.

Now the word from Self is that Selby has a "hot spot" on his foot and he doesn't want to risk a long term injury. To be honest, probably a good move from the perspective of Self, but Selby is probably steaming. If he got big minutes, there is no doubt he'd go pro. This draft is weak and there was already enough hype surrounding the guy to make him a lottery pick.

Before the Husker game he went through pregame warmups, which explains him being in uniform on the bench with the cast.

Little getting all of selbys points tonight, george might have gone for 40 against mizzou and declared in the postgame, seff is such a dick.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

Anybody have insider?

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog?name=nba_draft&id=6067840&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2fblog%3fname%3dnba_draft%26id%3d6067840

I do  :adios:

Any quotes worth sharing?

Seff's system, like UCLA's, is not guard-friendly and too confined --> similar to QB's in Leach's "system".  Basicly said guards can do o.k., but said guards would go higher at a different program.

might be news to some but pretty meh here.

Ku alum Sam Mellinger penned a nice hatchet piece on Selby today.  By the time Bill Self is done, Selby will be lucky to be a second rounder when he is a junior.

Have to feel for the kid. A friend told me Josh really wants to study chemical engineering in case the whole basketball thing doesn't pan out for him, but Seff is making him take Communications for his major. Such a shame.
