Ron Prince did some wacky things, and we all know how that turned out.  Chings requested a master list of items that will not work at Kansas State University, because Ron Prince did them.

Have a binder/plan
Put recruit vid's on the internet for free.
Talk about recruiting for speed
Schedule high profile games
Wear a cowboy hat
Bang his assistant coach's wife
Recruit an elite QB
Sing alma mater after games
Change uniforms
Beat Texas
Give bunny ears at photo ops

I'm sure I missed many things, so please feel free to add.

We will never be elite without speed.

Fabricate 9-11 stories. Then when called out, blame misinformation on FDNY firefighters.

"That's what I was told."

recap?

RP's midweek press conference on 9-11-2007. With his closing remarks he says how he'll never forget sitting in his office in Charlottesville, Va., hearing the ambulances rush victims from the Pentagon to the UVA med center.

Thirty seconds on Google Maps revealed the UVA med center to be 115 miles from the Pentagon. So WTF would injured Pentagon personnel be hauled 2+ hours to a hospital? Good question. So Bob Lutz calls up the UVA med center and asks, "Did you care for any Pentagon victims on 9-11?" The answer: "No, that's ridiculous. We're two hours away."

So Bob calls RP:
Bob:  Ron, I understand you heard ambulances rushing victims to the UVA med center on 9-11?
RP: That's right.
Bob: I just got off the phone with UVA. They said they didn't tend to any Pentagon victims that day.
RP: That's what I was told.
Bob: By who?
Ron: When we made up our game with Penn State at the end of the year, they honored some New York firefighters there, and they told me they took victims from the Pentagon to UVA.

Well, it sounds like Coach Prince should have "confirmed" his story.
