JHR gave us exactly what we need from him, besides the missed dunk. If he makes that he finishes with 6 points, 8 boards, and only 1 TO. You take that every night as long as you get solid play from Kelly and Samuels. The only other issue was letting Diaz back him down, but that was mainly b/c he didn't take away the correct shoulder. Once Diaz turned he was going to do his patented lower the shoulder power dribble move to get within 5 feet and throw up his little jump hook. Too often we let him turn to make this move and ended up fouling him or letting him get too close to make his shot, but when we took that away he had a lot of trouble. For example Samuels did a good job taking that away once on the left side of the floor, but Diaz was able to use his length to get the reverse lay-up, though many of you said it looked like he stepped out of bounds.
I thought Frank did a good job "stealing" a few minutes with only 1 of the 3 bigs on the floor. Granted, you can do that against NU b/c they play a similar line-up, it will be tougher against some other opponents.
