I used to watch a lot of this.  Hate all the motorized crap.  Should be snowboarding, the little rollar blade sized ski things, maybe some sort of sled or tubing event and maybe snow man building contest.

sledding would be a great event.  could have two divisions: first one could be those weird sleds with metal rails, second could be the cheap plastic sled that you couldn't steer.

another good event would be the run where you run on the street and see how long you can slide for while standing up.

yup good idea with the winter x/summer x combo event.  would definitely attract more competitors since they could compete 2x a year and win more X medals/trophs than 1x per year event competitors.

i wonder if the same guys would win the trophs in the winter X as won in the summer X?
