Cell Phone Insiders

I don’t use a screen protector but wouldn’t it be cheaper than $29 not even including two hours of your life? Maybe I’m missing the sarcasm or something.

oh yes of course. i just don't like the way it feels or looks with a screen protector. at least the ones i've seen. also i didn't sit there and wait for 2 hours

I feel like my phone is too slick without a case and i would drop it more. I enjoy mine
Safety paradox. I drop my phone less with no case because it is impossibly slippery

The screen protector I had best buy put on my new phone already has some tear or something right where the thumb goes to unlock it and it jacks that process up.  I need to go see if they'll put a new one on or give me some money back and I'll go raw.

My fav was the galaxy s5 cause it had a rubbery plastic back instead of the slick glass back everyone uses now.

I think I have an iPhone 5 maybe its a 6. Is there any real benefit to newer phones? doesn't seem like it.

there’s nothing better than walking into a high level business meeting and throwing my iphone 11 pro max down on the boardroom table in front of all of the betas in the room.  sets the tone immediately and let’s everyone know who the boss is.

So speaking of iOS 14 what does everyone of the cool iPhone people think of the new pin thing in iMessage?  Idk if I like it, it's like....different than any pin feature I've ever seen

seems like all new phones are gigantic too.. my pockets arent that big and I don't want to lug basically a tablet around with me.

I went with the regular 11 pro or whatever.  I don't like the giant ones

I've never been one to geek out about hardware or apps. Like, they either work or they don't. Whatever. But if there's one thing I care even less about, it's an operating system. I'm happy for the people who do enjoy them, though!

apple has consistently made the best phones and if you use android you have no clue what a real cell phone is

Earlier generations were no doubt superior to the cheap Androids on the market. Different game today.

My kid has an 8.  It functions no differently than my $300 Moto.

I'm gonna stay with my 4G LG=V30 until 5G becomes common in most areas.  As it is, I get about 2 bars of signal at best in the rural area I live in.  So all you fools buying the over priced new phones are wasting your money if you expect to get what the phone is capable of performing.
