George Brett at the KSU v Baylor game.
« on: January 28, 2011, 12:51:44 AM »
I was just watching a dvr of the KSU BU game and noticed #5 sitting right behind Bob and Brent.

Anyone else catch this never saw a thread or anything?

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Ya I saw him walk up and have a chat with Bobby at halftime, I'm assuming their best buds because of their admiration of eachothers bad person-ness

I went to the game and noticed him there as well.  I have heard before he is more of a KU fan.  Is that true?

no, he isn't a fan of either. actually has a pretty heavy disdain for both. openly encourages his kids to go to a juco. had a pretty long talk with him about this last year. true story.

Awesome stuff steve dave!  What else did you talk about!  You are so cool!

Thanks, and I'm glad you asked.  We also discussed Willie Wilson's ability to score blow, the time George punched Willie in the face because Willie stole Jamie Quirk's seat on the team plane (the convo got pretty Willie Wilson heavy for awhile), his upcoming trip to Hawaii to golf with that douche bag Rush Limbaugh and the fact that he likes Coors Light and this god damn wedding only has Miller and Bud light.

There has to be more than that steve dave!  Tell us more!  Also, I will reiterate how cool you are!

haha, thanks again, and luckily I just thought of a bunch more stuff.  Alex Gordan has the most potential he has seen in a prospect in years but he won't take coaching.  They have tried to get Alex to change his stance and grip on the bat since he got to the organization but he just won't do it.  Kevin Seitzer is a pussy.  If there was a team that needed coaching in how to pray harder or go to church more he would be your man.  George is voting for Sarah Palin, he may not have gotten more than a high school education but even he can see she's the best presidential candidate out there.  For their upcoming trip to Hawaii (not Rush Limbaugh bros only trip, holiday trip), his kids had better go on a god damn diet because if they think they are going to be walking around on the beach with their buddah bellies hanging out embarrasing the crap out of george they have another thing coming.

Bet it would be pretty awesome being one of George's fat kids.

Was thinking the same thing.  When your dad doesn't even have a GED and basically is the biggest hero of an entire city/state, that has to be a strange life.

it's pretty surreal.  (sd talking about his elite times alert) I was eating with the Brett fam one time in the plaza and his kids both told me they don't know if they will go to college.  both said that if they did decide to, they would start at a juco just to see if college was for them or not.  they then went on to describe all of the awesome things they could do without a college degree.  I don't know him well at all but I think he secretly wishes he had more of an education and over compensates to the point he discourages school for his kids.  but, I mean, wgaf.  you are george brett's kids and you have a god damn urinal in your bathroom connecting your bedrooms.  it doesn't get more elite.

The royals caravan was in town for a meet and greet thing during halftime.  They all came in to so long before the game.

Were at the VA hospital in Topeka and Ft. Riley.  There was an article in the KC Star the next day saying George hates signing autographs, but he will do it for the troops.

Hmmm, I like it.  It has just the right level of douchebaggery to work well as a general philosophy: "I 'hate' drinking beer, but when I meet friends after work tonight, I will do it for the troops."
"I'm thankful our MHK forefathers had the foresight to lynch white dudes so that we might be able to throw up the mob with a clear conscience."
