Can't believe I didn't know about this jewel until now. Anyone else use it?

Who needs this when you have envelopes?
Where did you get that overnight bag?

I use it, but not very much.

A couple of my accounts don't update like they should, and one was next to impossible to get set up.

If I could pay bills/transfer money through it, it would be a lot more useful.

I have received 88 e-mails from Mint.com since I joined on Sept. 29, 2008.

Their "service" sucks*.

That was my experience with it as well.

Yeah, its usefulness is totally dependent on their ability to pull info from your accounts; luckily, it handled mine just fine.

I'm all set with my bill paying needs; what I was looking for was a quick way to break down spending and where the money is going. Pretty handy for that.

I must be one of the few truly elites that can do this off the top of my head without the use of either envelopes or software

I'm anal about tracking my money, yet too lazy to dig through and organize it myself. So mint.com is my hero for the day.

If the account update e-mails didn't come on Fridays, Mint would be tolerable.

But reading a statement that says, essentially, "You have a gambling problem, stop gambling" is not how I like to start my weekend.

You know you can turn email updates off per category, right?

Gotta admit, I use an excel spreadsheet for this.

My budgeting pretty much goes like this:

"you can't afford that".

Yeah, not very elite.  Oh, well.

Mine's the opposite.  I should probably pay attention to what I spend more often.

Even if you don't use the budgeting stuff, it's nice to have all of your accounts in one place. Clean design, too!

I can't recall a single purchase in my past that has hurt my quality of life.

Frugal people are too worried about everything. Just spend your damn money and make more money tomorrow.

EDIT: Or just bet the Indiana Hoosiers +4 over Illinois tonight.  :crossfingers:

this is good advice. if you have to watch the amount of money you spend then you should go make more so that you don't have to watch the amount of money you spend. this isn't that hard folks.

I've used it for a couple years, but my credit union switched over to a new online system that tracks stuff better than mint does. Mint freaks out with Sallie Mae about once every couple months. Got tired of using it. Just use my credit union's site now.
