Jax is probably the best seafood in KC but that's not saying much bc seafood in KC sucks crap

The lobster roll was pretty lobster-y.  None of their fish dishes wow'd me on the menu but definitely be back.
they use the wrong type of roll

I'm no LR expert but yeah I guess now that you mention it, it's not the right bread.

Why do ppl love Fogo? My best friend loves that place and I can't think of anything more uncomforting than over eating. :dunno:

because people are idiots.  the meat quality at Fogo is slightly better than what you'd find at Sirloin Stockade.  oh boy, let's chow down on meat prepared the gaucho way.  sounds great.

there's a fogo right near where i live and i see the gauchos wearing their gaucho outfits to and from work, inclusive of gaucho boots, walking around and it reminds me of the scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High when Brad is out delivering for captain hook fish and chips

and yes- all very handsome gauchos.  why would they hire ugly ones?
