as much as i'd love this type of result, i just don't think this team has it in them.  ku wins by 35 in what will be rememebered for years.  the ugliest k-state game since UMKC.

True, I could see a game similar to Huggs' year with Southwell playing the part of Murder.

Going to get destroyed by the refs.
That's the least of our worries this year. The only thing the refs will do is make the game go from a blowout to an embarrassment.

If  :ck: only  :ck:'s 5 times during the game, then that means we win big time.

Frank needs to a get a tech early and hopefully late.  If it is going to be a dumpster fire we might as well toss on some gasoline.

Only Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) coaches like Pat Knight use this strategy.

I thought for sure we would win if Frank did this, thanks for showing me the error of my ways.

The only real question about this game is whether or not KU demoralizes us so badly that it carries over to the following game(s). If we're gonna make the TBS/CBS Post Season Tourn-a-ment, we need to win every remaining game that is not against KU or Texas. If KU can hang 90 on us and win by 30, I think there's a good chance we find ourselves with another 3 game losing streak.

O/U on Spradling TOs in Lawrence is officially set at 5

We're gonna get dismantled. I predict that it will be very enjoyable to those associated with the kansas university jayhawks.

If there is any chance, we have to avoid this. Our last 4 games in Lawrence we've given up at least 82 points and in 6 of our last 7 vs KU. Only in 84-75 did we hold them under that total. And that last time we held them under 80 in Lawrence was 59-55.

It has to be an ugly, mid-60s possession game for us to win. Of course we tried that last year (with our best team in decades) and still gave up 82 points in a 65 possession game. It was our worst defensive game of the year though.

Call me Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)(many of you already have in the past, but I forgive you), but I think that this year's KU team may not know how to react to a very ugly first half due to JYC D.

Such a first half could be enough to throw them off???

What do you think about what CU did to them last night, basically conceding any chance at Oboards to Doc( Tad?) the game up?

We would only score 30-40 points if we tried this.

We don't have Burks/Higgins, etc. Just not enought offensive skill to run and try to "outshoot" KU. And that was still a pretty medium paced game (66 possessions) but both teams shot really, really well. If we have an OR% of 13 like CU did we will lose by 20-30 points.

And its anti-Frank to concede Oboards. He may tweak things, but he'll never concede Oboards and fouling (both sides of the ball).

We'll get down big early, then make a little run in the second half and lose by 15 or so.  Yet another moral victory.

Back and forth first few minutes, KU goes on a run to go up 12 or so. KU goes on another run to go up 18 at half. Nice run by KU to start the 2nd half gets the game to 12 possessions. KU goes on another run, lead goes to 30 at the 8 minute mark. KU has a nice run out of the timeout, pushes lead to 35 or 36 by the under 4 TO. KU wins by 40 after making FTs while Cats miss shots.
