Okcat would't bother me if he just stuck to the one thing he was good at.   Not really sure what that one thing is but he should stick to it.  Also, funny how his fatass tries to talk crap on dudes that are roughly one million times more athletic than he is.  Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

I really don't see anything in JHR's season numbers to complain too much about. Plus, he compares favorably to everyone's favorite, Wally Judge.

Again, I like Judge, but he's done nothing (with many more opportunities) to prove he should play a lot more than JHR. They are both role playing bigs.

Yeah, Wally is a better passer, but that's about it.

And just imagine if Wally didn't have that three game stretch against terrible teams where Frank tried to make him the feature part of the offense/team. I just find it hard to complain about Wally/JHR when Frank has gone out of his way to give Wally a spot. Its really ridiculous.

I am so glad that Wally and Freddy (and their. 10 fouls) and their 10 fouls will not be an option for the rest of the year.  Good riddance, We have more than enough bigs to be a successful team.

Thanks, and I hope people don't misunderstand. I'm not advocating that JHR is one of our best post players, or even third best overall.  But he is 3rd right now.  He's a 3 star recruit, given his size/athleticism pretty much a project, and by midway through his SO year he's a serviceable role playing post. Pretty much what I'd hope, and we'll see what he becomes. But his play doesn't even register in a list of post disappointments right now.

I'd list my top post disappointments like this:

1) The inconsistency, on and off the court season of Curtis Kelly. Preseason the hope was all-league level player and he's not. His up and down year has been a big factor in our year.
2) Our McD/5 star post not turning into one of our top 3 post players. Judge has all the measureables, looks good, but when he's banged around he plays soft, softer than JHR much of the time. One of the things I was hoping for was not necessarily Judge becoming all-league, but at least becoming similar to Samuels (numbers wise) during his FR year.
3) Asprilla being a wuss. His play on the court was about what I thought it would be, but I'm disappointed he didn't hang around. Depth is depth.
4) JamSam's struggles with his shot/scoring.  Last year he was a double figure scorer in nearly 2/3 of our games, this year less than 1/2. His rebounding and defense is actually slightly better, but I expected he'd at least maintain his ability to score and he's dropped off. Granted, some of that is likely related to #1.

jhr wouldn't bother me if he didn't try to have an offense.  just get rebounds, be tall, and pass.  at least once a game he tries to drive it and he looks extremely awkward.

He attempted 3 shots in 17 minutes (and had 2 Orebs).  :ck:

his last oboard was impressive.  big time, as a gym teacher might say.

Never hated Doc, just hated the situation he's been forced into. Even the acne scars are growing on me.

He's been really consistent when he's on the court.  His suspensions are what hurt him (and the team).  Without Frank's myssuspensions (yes, that's Frank's fault) and a jaded girlfriend at Dillard's, he's fine.

Offensively, yeah.  Defense and rebounding, not as much. Still good most of the time, but not always consistent. Its why Frank hates him.

That's good advice.

My personal fave was frosh from Rice HS Souhtwell shoving senior from Rice HS Kelly for not getting a rebound.

He's had 7+ rebounds in 3 of 4 games since returning.  :ck:

I think Frank expects more out of him. Maybe unrealistic, I just watch Frank react to Curt and its often negative.
