Why didn't Judge or Russell play yesterday?

Judge knocked an underage girl up, so he has to miss some games from time-to-time to go to the doctors appts.  Russell hurt his eye.

Russell is a lost cause.

A big sign of the ability of our coaches will be if Nick is back next year or not.  If he is, it really illustrates our inability to get players, imo.

I just want to know what a realistic expectation for the end of the season is.

7-9 Big 12 :dunno:
1 NIT win  :dunno:
1 Big 12 road win  :dunno:

I really have no idea what to think anymore.

pomeroy has kstate at 6-10, with a much higher chance for 5-11 than 7-9.  if you think kstate is likely to perform better than they have thus far, you could bump them up a little from that.  if you think that some future opponents are overrated, you could do the same.  luck could swing a couple of games either way.

Why does Frank hate Irving? (not giving up on that crusade quite yet)

Yep, Juevol also.  It's like he loves playing Dr. Frankenstein with the roster.  He'll play guys 2 or 3 games, they will play well and then they will disappear for a few games.  It would be nice if more than 3 players had defined roles.  His practice talking point is pretty stupid.

So we start running an offense where everyone starts free throw lined extended, and the one guy who doesn't see the floor is the McD AA who appears to be more comfortable away and facing the basket.

I suspect that Wally didn't call out a pick in practice last Thursday so he's in Frank's doghouse.

JHR seems pretty comfy out there too.  For the last 5-6 games he seems to prefer the high vs low post.

And so does Curt, and so does Jamar.  All of our bigs are pretty much the same dude.  Didn't really understand Dax's point there.

Uh . . . how about the point of the McD AA who hasn't played 1 minute in the last 2 games.

there are maybe 5% of bigs in the world that don't want to either 3s or 1s.  they all prefer to be as far from the basket as possible.

And most 1's want to be be 3's, thus completing the circle of life.

This is more than likely 97% not true, but I like the poetry of it and hey symmetry is a fundamental part of life.

Not saying that I don't mind seeing him, but he doesn't bring anything unique that the others don't.  There isn't anything he does better than anyone else, nothing.  We need another face up big, like we need another shooting guard playing point.  Freddy as much as I hated him, had the most unique skillset of all of the bigs.

In fact I am thinking about walking on.  I will bang down low and post up.  I am willing to sacrifice my professional career and become K-State's much needed big man.  I still have 4+ years of eligibility left and according to select services I a projected as a solid 3.5-4 star player.

It's never going to "click" for Wally if he never see's the floor.   Kelly gave K-State nothing last night besides 6 turnovers and the usual  :ck:   fouls, in all of that Wally see's not 1 minute of PT??  Really??

not getting wally in for the end of the half after CK picked up his 2nd foul was maddening - I would think treating Wally like a JAG would "teach a lesson" more than anything else?

JHR played awesome. CK and Jamar are light years better than Wally. Everyone bitches when our shitty players play, unless that player is Wally. They bitch when he doesn't play.

Nobody said Wally had to go in a gobble up minutes, but not 1 minute??

This really isn't that hard.

Not just a minute, a few minutes.

Anyway . . . he goes from getting tons of minute, by necessity I understand, but still . . . too none.

jhr played fine.  in the new offense, there aren't as many minutes for bigs anyways.

if you want to bitch about minutes, why not use russell?  seems like replacing some of the shitty guards' minutes with russell minutes might have had more upside than replacing jhr's best ever minutes with judge minutes

Dax your posts are usually pretty awesome, but your grammar is usually pretty awful.
