So I hear you looked pretty good against Tech, not so much w/ the turnovers and all that. Sorry I missed it, but I had to take a little break after the abominations I'd been forcing myself to watch. Let me tell you that I really appreciate the whole tourney run last year in which you were smokin' hot and looked awesome. You are still a very good player and we're all happy that you play pretty good defense and give us 15 or so each night out. You will always be remembered as a great player at K-State.

Now that aside, let me also tell you that you need to get all of this All-American nonsense out of your head. I know it's nice to think about, but it's actually made you a worse player this year. All-Americans take charge of their team, don't make silly turnovers, and find ways to win games. You're not an All-American. Now, all I really want is what you can give if you just pull your inflated ego out of the stratosphere.

You are a senior. Act like it. Stop making Gruds and Sams and everyone else try to take over this team while looking over their shoulders at you (because it's YOUR job). You're the one that's been here the longest. You've experienced the roughest of Martin and have come out the better for it. You should be proud of that. The managerial position is yours. Just man up.

You are better than all those stupid turnovers you've had. You're better than those forced threes you take too often. And you're way better than the passive no-show leadership you've been exhibiting. You're in the home stretch of your senior season. Tomorrow night you have a chance to do all the right things against a team with a pulse. It's not too late to turn this ship around. Make us proud, Pullz, make us proud.

OK... so I was in a funky mood last night. My apologies for the tone, which was probably uncalled for.

What I'm trying to say is -- make me a believer today. Against a team that will try and beat us w/ forced turnovers and killer shots on their home floor, show me that last game wasn't a fluke, and that the best, most experienced player on our team is ready to perform like the best, most experienced player on our team.

To you PIers, I'm ok w/ admitting when I'm wrong, but I also am not swayed when I believe I'm right.
