best option: buy used textbook from a friend/older person in your major/frat brother or sorority sister--they will sell them for about half the price you'd buy at varney's or union bookstore. i bought my books from varney's this last semester for about $20 each, and when trying to sell them back varney's only offered to pay me about $3 per book. second best option: half.com or somewhere else online

I would have saved a small fortune if my books had only cost $20, this being before Amazon, etc were around.
