Oh, and by the way, Aldrich could have left after his sophomore season, but he chose to come back and work towards getting his degree.
If that is true Cole is even more Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) than he appears (which is already very Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!))
Cole was the Academic All-American of the Year last season, and will be the first member of family to earn a college degree. I'd say that's pretty f*cking far from Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).
No, it's the most Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) thing he could have done. His family were poor losers and he has the rest of his life to get a degree. He took away one of the few years of gainful employment he (or probably anyone in his weirdo family) are going to have by doing so. There was absolutely no benefit to him and a crap load of detriment. The opportunity cost was off the charts. Weren't you an Econ major?
Sure, Aldrich could have started collecting an NBA paycheck a year earlier, but that's not what life is all about. You only have the opportunity to enjoy the college experience as a KU basketball player once. Also, I don't know if you can really put a monetary value on being the first person in your family to earn a college degree. Thanks to an extra year at KU, Aldrich entered the NBA draft as one of the most polished and NBA-ready players in the entire rookie class.
This statement is complete bullsh*t. Is that why he was like the 4th center taken? He f*cked himself by not going a year earlier, he can't execute an offensive move without traveling and any "degree" he earned at uk in 3 years has a monetary value of about $69. Not to mention missing out on some much needed Delta Dental.
Cost Benefit analysis: $69 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< $15,000,000 (wild guess at TVM one years earnings plus lost comp from sliding in draft)
LoL at college experience as uk bball player. It's hard to put a value on a year of weed, hoes, battery, abortions, grand theft auto, and litany petty misdemeanors.
