None of the guys on the roster will be able to create their own shot next year, barring a surprise from a newcomer. It will be a problem but we'll still have a better record than this year.

Yep. This is a similar situation to when Wooly was here. Decent talent, decent coach, but simply not good enough. Basically what most P5 failed coaches look like at schools that are similar to us, few are absolute disasters like what we've seen from Kim Anderson or Trent Johnson.

Is the problem lack of players able to create their own shot or lack of players who can shoot period?

Our 3 pt % in conference is pathetic.

Well, both are big problems.

Facts are facts guys. We are the best 16-15 team in the country. Our next closest competition is Arkansas, but come on, let's be real here.

if xwhomper and bullnuts are half dece this should be a good team next year.  Would be nice to have a 4th reliable guard. Randolph had a meeting with Hollywood yesterday but we would only be able to pickup another dog bite type probably.

Bigs won't matter that much. If you look at oscar's career it is completely defined by having good point guard play. Has nothing to do with "other coaches players." He had good years when Chester was a senior and when McCamey was a senior.

But here is the issue he hasn't recruit a point guard in the fall since he has been at K-State. It is rough ridin' insane.

You are basically looking at Kam and Diarra (who I actually think has some talent) leading a team. You are looking a very wildcard team, they are currently 45 in kenpom and that should be a good jumping point for a team returning 70ish %. But eff you have a sophomore and freshmen point guard.

Most fans would simply be happy with seeing a team compete hard and not smile on the bench.  Asking for more than that is silly. oscar puts a product on the floor that we can all be proud of and making an NIT this year is an amazing accomplishment that only the biggest fool would sneeze at.

We beat Oklahoma and we almost beat UNC. Name another team anywhere that can say that. Oscar is our guy.
