I'm sick, so I played the crap out of FIFA 13 tonight. Don't you guys agree that the gameplay is much better than 12? You can actually get runs in and the game feels less mechanical in a lot of aspects (shots excluded). It's pretty great.

To be fair, I used my amazon gift card on it. But still, the gameplay's a lot more fluid. They have a lot of new perks like international team management and a rewards system that rolls over from your FIFA 12 gameplay stats too. I used to be one of those idiots that would get NCAA Football (insert year here) every year until I just realized they were mailing it in and not making any significant changes to the franchise year after year. FIFA 13 feels much, much different than FIFA 12 in many aspects. They did a pretty good job revamping it. The main downsides are that the shots are still pretty mechanical in movement and execution and they could use a bit of a revamp, and there aren't enough custom stadiums (and they somehow lost the Nou Camp). But everything else feels very different.

Had plans but I'm not feeling like getting out in this weather amongst the amatuer drunk drivers.  Instead, I'm getting down on season 3 of 30 Rock and a twelve pack of Snow Day. 

I wrecked some of those at Harry's last week.  Pretty good.
