their nachos al carbon are delicious
Have not had.

Used to get the enchiladas, carbon tacos with steak for YEARS.

Was feeling frisky tonight

Mixto was just a tortilla full of steak. With red gravy and queso on top.  It was awesome.

Went to Sierra grill in Lenexa for happy hour last night and it was terrific. We had brisket burger. French fries, and short rib crostini

So that Jalapenos downtown is not at all affiliated with the Jalapenos is Brookside.  Fascinating.

There’s one in Stanley/southern OP as well that’s been around for time immemorial

The one downtown isn't even mexican food I don't think, it's a rebrand of a horrible bar that used to be there, same owners.

Had Hanks again (more sober this time). It's a pretty damn good burger. I'm throwing it above Snack Shack and Corner Cocktail, and possibly evenish with Cosmo. Also, Mrs SF got the broccolini with her burger (lol) and it was delicious.

cosmo is pretty hit or miss for me. and sometimes the amount of salt and msg they use is way too much.

FINALLY got to "The Pizza Man" in Lenexa for a Chicago beef sandwich and it was teriffic.

Great bread, great beef, great dipping broth.  9$ for a sandwich.  Looked to have Tavern style pizza as well.

Pizza man is pretty great but its just such a random location that I never actually go there, also they close at like 6pm so unless I'm in the area around lunch time (which is rare) I never think about them.

Same excuse but I’ll be going back. Pizza looked ok. Tavern style
