probably not. likely just uninformed, as in didn't actually look at the box score.
Well, box score says we did actually win the TOP battle 2:1 which is pretty good but we still lost, so in that sense it did not mean much.
Second, if we take the alternate reality approach and shorten the game by 6 minutes, we still lose (TCU went up with something like 7 minutes left I think).
Third, we were ahead by 3 scores, but we were playing one of the nation's top offenses and got a huge INT to slow down TCU in the first half. We were not going to win the game without continuing to score.
No one knows whether more runs would have given us the necessary production to move the chains. That said, if we go up on the Sooners in the first half next week, you can bet we'll run more to start the 3rd quarter.
