guys- they were in the same town on the same days and then the next day currie hires him. currie flustered during the interview says that he immediately flew to dallas to stay at a hotel room and go over charts and then on wednesday? (i think that's what he said) flew to where weber was to talk to him. then apparently weber went to dallas on thursday? to interview for the smu job? guys this does not add up. it does not make sense.

There are a lot of questions.

Who gives a rat how it went down? Why does it matter?  So, he went to Dallas. oscar Weber went to Dallas. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! What were they both doing in Dallas?!?!  This is a travesty.  I want answers!!!!  Get the President on the phone NOW!!

why does it matter?

1)i'd like to know if currie lied during the presser.
2)i'd like to know if weber was his guy from the beginning and if he had pearl lined up on sunday before martin even left.
3)i feel like it's my right as a fan and season ticket holder to know these things.
4)this one is the most important really...i'm just genuinely curious as to why an athletic director in kansas would hop a plane to go to a dallas hotel for four days when he was starting a coaching search.

1) yes, he lied.  His "transparency" is only as to the money he saves in a fund to make him look good for his next job, otherwise, eff off.  This is a private University that is not constrained by the Kansas Open Records Act
2) No.  Not likely but he wasn't even really trying that hard so meh
3) No, you'd think, but you have no rights.  This school was created in 1863 simply to advance the careers of and enrich the  people it hires

Following a press conference to announce the coaching search on Tuesday, Currie said he flew to Dallas to be alone in a hotel room, researching and making phone calls. By that night, Weber already had an interview.

That right there should be reason enough to fire him.  He is a lazy piece of crap.  He interviewed one guy, a crap candidate at that, and hired him.  What are we paying this fuckstick for?  oscar Weber was the best candidate that came to mind....and then he rough ridin' HIRED HIM?  I'm not sure if he's more lazy or imcompetent, but he probably has the maximum allowance of both.  There is a lot of apathy in there, too.  eff him.  If you can't hate him for this, you don't really give a crap about Kansas State.

He's a shitty rough ridin' coach.  There.  Not all that tough to find.  A rough ridin' 8 year old with internet access could figure that out in about 90 seconds, and he wouldn't have to go to rough ridin' Dallas to do it.  I could have done it in 30 seconds on my phone while taking a crap, half awake, and hungover.  How in the eff did we get such a rough ridin' idiot for an AD.  I'm starting to think Schultz should be fired as well for making the shittiest hire of all.
