Gas pop bottles/desiel crossover post: when I was really young my dad worked at a truss factory out by the mhk airport. The owner would let my dad work on his truck at the factory on the weekend so I was like 7 having fun dicking around a truss factory and saw a glass Pepsi bottle and thought "score!". Took a swig and some rapscaillion had filled the bottle with gasoline. Anyway I spit it out and spent the rest of the day at the er.

bill avery?  i worked there during college, ama

They need to set up Venmo so fans can Venmo kids after a good play, as a way of cheering.

yes, instead of a powercat on their helmet put their venmo QR code!  you'll have to zoom in a bit, but should work

i remember driving a tractor and field cultivator down the 2 lane highway by our farm that was hilly and had zero shoulder.  cars would fly up and down that road, you had to drive with the right tires in the ditch when someone was coming from the opposite direction.  i was probably 12 years old.

how can someone talented enough to paint snyder/kli mess up the powercat so badly?  looks like they drew the p-cat in the corner of the living room and wanted to use up the whole page.

You guys, my daughter is about to turn 15 months old. What's my avenue? I'm looking for cheap.

Also, I'm REALLY hoping to get her into music instead of sports. For a lot of reasons. Any tips?

this is the competitive little kid sports thread

i'm sure it sucks for baseball, but at least those kids get to go in the dugout half the time.  running constantly for 70-90 minutes with no reprieve is brutal, and i'm sure the other 15 states that are coming here are not ready for it either.

good news:  daughter's team won the Kansas State Cup!
more good news:  regional's are held in KC this year!

bad news:  it's probably going to be hot af and the turf is likely to be an issue.  daughter was already complaining about the heat Sunday and we finished before noon.  turf gets super hot and starts to make your feet burn.
