First QB to win two bowl games!!!!!

Beasley won two bowl games:

1999 Holiday Bowl
2001 Cotton Bowl (2000 Season)

He won three.

He won two.  Bishop's team lost the Alamo in 1998 and The Roberson/Dunn Project lost the Insight in 2001.  Beasley was a two-year starter ('99 and 2000).  Redshirted in 1998.

So, Beasley won two bowls and one conference championship?

No.  In 1999, K-State was the Co-North Division Champs with Nebraska, but the 'Fuskers played for the Conference Championship because they defeated us 41-15 and went on the beat Texas in the rematch for the Big XII Title.  We lost to Oklahoma 27-24 in the 2000 Conference Championship Game.

Troy's mother loves K-State and Coach Weber.  If it were up to her, he'd be coming to Manhattan.

He's leaning on staying in state though and still hoping for an offer from Florida (close friend Michael Frazier plays for UF).  They're probably not going to offer him.

How do I know this?  My son and Troy are also friends and played against each other in high school.

So anyway-  Mario Ponds holds the KSHSAA record @ 10.36.  This 2pacSam fellow needs to check his sources.  Boom.  Roasted x2.

Not disputing the source, but Ponds' time is the record for the KSHSAA Track & Field Meet State Championships, not the overall state record.  So you're wrong, Ponds does not own the overall fastest time in Kansas high school history, just the state meet record.  The kid from Valley Center(Joe Fisher) ran the second fastest time in Kansas high school history this year with a 10.35.  You need to re-read my post.  Maurice's record time was set at another meet, i.e., league invitational, district or regional meet. 

There's a chance I could be wrong, but Google's not showing any records.  Then again Google isn't the end all and be all.  That is why I said I believe rather that present my statement as an undeniable fact.  I'll keep checking and if I'm right, I'll be sure to post it.

I believe the state record for the boys 100m dash is held by Maurice Greene from KC Schlagle at 10.29 seconds(1992).  It was the fastest high school time in the nation that year and yes, it's the same Greene who held the world's record for a short while(9.79 seconds).

His older brother(Earnest) ran for K-State track in the late 80s early 90s.  He was also a fast S.O.B., but not as fast as his younger brother.

Supposedly posters 111007 and some other poster named KSUCripps2009 know players, staff, etc.  I've read their postings in the past and they know what they're
talking about.  I still have my doubts, which is why I'm hoping some of the people with inside info on this sight might share their insight.

Per an insider to the football program on TOS, Bryce has decided to again remain in Tennessee.  WTF is going on!!!!!
