ESPN also thinks highly of Vernon Vaughn which is interesting. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/173037/vernon-vaughn
Hey! Vaughn's form my Alma Mater in KCK! I wonder if he's related to the Vaughns I know. So, is he fast? Can he catch a ball?
 :ksu:

You went to Sumner? I went to Ward years ago  :cyclist: I played against his dad Willie Vaughn who went to Wyandotte and he was a stud.

Bob Lutz of The Wichita Eagle provided a list on Wednesday of possible candidates to replace Frank Martin at Kansas State.

According to Lutz, the No. 1 option is Colorado coach Tad Boyle, a name that seems to come up in every job opening across the west and midwest. Boyle appears to be pretty happy in Boulder, however, and many may look at this as a lateral move.

Others on the list include the likes of Illinois State coach Tim Jankovich -- someone ESPN's Andy Katz mentioned earlier this week -- along with Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua, Oklahoma assistant Steven Henson and Georgia coach Mark Fox, who has ties to the school.

As for long shots? Lutz mentions Saint Mary's coach Randy Bennett, Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, Michigan State assistant Dwayne Stephens and New Mexico coach Steve Alford.

NO Orlando Antigua!!!!! He is not even the top assistant!  :nono:  :nono:

Kansas State Basketball is hard / Re: Coach Cal
« on: March 27, 2011, 11:28:03 AM »
i want to see him fail to ever make the final four and get fired asap.

Chum- I know Cal personally, he is a good dude. He does a lot in the Lexington community as well as helping those who have terminal illnesses. Did you know he makes 4 million a year and donates 2 million to cancer research? When they left Memphis he bought all his assistants houses so they wouldn't have two mortgage payments? He has established college trust funds for his assistants children so their college education is taken care of?

I was pleasantly surprised that ESPN didn't make our fan base look like the Hillbillies we actually are.  Most of the shots I can remember were of normal looking people wearing K-State attire that was bought within the last couple of years and not worn underneath overalls.  I was ecstatic that the two blonds schlepping down brews behind Vitale were actually doable and not fat pigs!  Good job last night crowd!

:bball:

rumblings that one of the blonde's is a goEMAW poster's wife. :surprised:
Rumblings are correct -- the one in purple is highly doable and was done last night............by me!!!!!!    :pbj:
:surprised:
Does her husband know?

now he does..... :curse:

I plan on sneaking into the lockerroom before the game and finding a fully dressed ref.  At that point I will bop him over the head with a blunt object, knocking him out.  I will then switch clothes with him and lock him in a closet while I put on his clothes

A BLUNT............ :bigtoke:  :crossfingers: :surprised:

New poster here - my nephew turned me on to this site. Funny as hell. One question what does BITB mean? I know it is Keitzman related but curious about what it means.
