If MAGA can rough up a US Senator, they can outright murder state legislators, right?  Headed to the Capitol to stand against Trump this afternoon with just a little tinge of concern about some pardoned armed MAGA nutjob  making an appearance.

The check came due yesterday on the orange Potemkin's first-term reckless, ego-driven :Wha: :Wha:, needless decision to rip up the Obama administration's Iran nuclear agreement with the start of a new dangerous regional war in the Middle East. Not satisfied with this demonstrated ineptitude, he's moved on to other brain farts that are more fetishes and the pettiness of an easily bruised ego than reasoned or attainable policy goals. And just like the need to undo the accomplishment of a competent predecessor who had the audacity to be black, thesee new idiocies all come with their own future reckonings as this trainwreck of Fox News amateurs steers us to a dystopian nightmare.
- the war on academia and science that is surrendering America's standing in scientific leadership to China.
- (closely related) Enabling RFK Jr's loony conspiracy driven dismantling of and defunding critical health processes agencies, research and standards.
- a incomprehensible taco trade war that is forcing a reordering of the global economy that will exclude America and the dollar.
- an embrace of fossil fuel while scorning renewable sources at the expense of the environment and market trends.
- Russian appeasement and likely abandonment of NATO. Only the total ineptitude of the Russia state and military make this a lesser threat, as witnessed by the recent Ukraine drone strikes in which UKR shipped drones in cargo containers via Russian truckers to be spotted near air bases a thousands of miles inside Russia to take out a high percentage of Russia's strategic bombers.
- Labor shortages from the deportation of immigrants who fill jobs in agriculture, construction, hospitality and food processing Americans just don't want. Those South African white farmers aren't putting on your next roof or boning beef in Dodge City.

There's more like the gutting of FEMA, piggy backing on regan's tax policy to destroy the middle class, embrace of Christian nationalism, rolling back voting rights, openingly exercising graft on a grand scale, the celebration thuggery, freeing insurrectionists, traitors and terrorists all in a vain attempt to make America white again.

LA Times: Lumps in Trump's Pants Revive Health Concerns as Speculation of 'Leg Braces' Grows Days After Tumbling Up Stair

I know, "lumps in Trump's pants,"eewww right?

As a working journalist, I've been cursed and harassed by Black Lives Matter zealots and MAGA anti-vax fools. A BLM organizer threatened to bring a camp-out protest to the newspaper, which I thought would be great. She was shouting at me but wouldn't tell me her name, even though everyone around her was using it. So I just googled a past story on my phone and asked her if the spelling was correct.
The MAGA anti-vax pea-brains were harassing kids and their parents when COVID shots first became available for them. I asked them why they found that objectionable or why that family decision was any of their business but got only sputtering rage in response.

Michael Beasley can officially claim his supremacy in a one-on-one setting. The former 11-year pro defeated fellow NBA alum Lance Stephenson 31-21 in a 1-vs-1 matchup at TNC 02.4 hours ago.

You don't disrespect the people's champ like that, Lance.

With Nate Johnson and Kostic, Haggerity won't have to be a classically great pg, as he will have capable playmakers playing along side of him.

In two games, Kostic has shown his upside and ability to become an impact freshman for the Wildcats, which has many insiders raving about his future as a professional.

In his two tournament outings, Kostic has posted 34 points, three assists, and three rebounds in 22 minutes per game. Standing at 6-foot-7 with elite shooting, ball handling, and facilitating abilities, the Serbian native has become a hot name in the 2026 NBA Draft class already.

“Head coach Jerome Tang and Kansas State have a high-level shooting guard on the way in Andrej Kostic,” ESPN’s Paul Biancardi wrote on X. “He reads the defense well and attacks with poise under pressure, demonstrating excellent passing vision and touch. He shoots confidently from both deep and mid-range. Standing 6’5”, he has a sturdy frame and a high basketball IQ.”

Draft Express’ Jon Chepkevich also raved about Kostic, saying, “Andrej Kosti? is putting on a show for onlooking NBA scouts here at Adidas Hoops Eurocamp in Treviso. Dropped 19 points against 3SSB Select, showcasing his shotmaking gifts and some flashes of playmaking sizzle. So naturally talented. Looks more than ready for the Big 12.”

The talented guard is expected to be a major contributor for Jerome Tang in 2025-26, as the group looks to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022-23.nal.

Tanner West, a running back/wide receiver from Katy Jordan High School in Texas, committed to Kansas State after an official visit, joining the Wildcats' 2026 class. According to 247Sports and Kansas State University Athletics, West is expected to play running back for the Wildcats. West was offered by Kansas State in late February and made an unofficial visit in March. He had other visits planned but decided to commit after his official visit.

I confess to never having seen him play. I'm curious to see how quick he is. He must have quicks and explosive first step the rate he gets to the rim. It just seems odd he doesn't have a break-away dunk in two years of starting and playing lots of minutes. Apparently, he's not going to be someone to throw down lob ducnks like K Johnson. Don't know who that guy is on this team. Nate Johnson? Kostic? Mobie, of course.

Upperclassmen on KSU team who have never recorded a dunk: Bashir, Marcus Johnson, PJ Haggerty and David Costillo. Will this be the least athletic team since Wooly?

Are they quietly ushering Bill out the door? Golf is prioritizing spending on football both for talent and finishing thee North Korean stadium project and the hawkers shooting blanks in the portal. Target Devon Williams to NCS removed the last obstacle in the way of our signing PJ. They're now pinning all their hopes on "generational"talent Peterson. Given Self's track recordd with 5-stars, that seems risking. And Jasque Vaughn is the fans'new hope to transition the program out of the plantation era and into the NIL reality.

TP's failing was as a scorer, or specifically his 33.2 percent 3-pt shooting average. He averaged 4.4 assists and 2.7 TOs, pretty solid tho the TO rate could have been a bit lower, especially when playing along side of stone hands Cam. TP just struggled to get open on his own as a spot-up shooter on the Big 12 level. PJ is going to score and score at a high level. If he can duplicate Perrys assist/TO numbers, we're golden.

I feel like "we have good 3pt shooters this year" is to K-State basketball what "we have a good transfer receiver this year" is to K-State football.
Lollers. Sad but true. I choose to be upbeat, tho. Bringing in an All-American has to be a good thing.

Haggerty and Nate Johnson get to the line at an amazing rate. But the new assistant wants to fire up threes and neither are really great from range. Haggerty does rebound very well for a guard, with more than 5 a game.
FYI, phog is divided over whether this helps us or not. Everybody is pointing to Hawkins when they should be city Keyonte Johnson. I wonder if part of his incentive is a nice payday for winning in Allen?

Maybe I can dampen your enthusiasm. Haggerty 3.7 assists p/g last year vs 3.3 turnover p/g. Yikes. Don't like that assist to turnover ration in Tang's hands.
