Yep, fuel before and during should help.  Are you carrying hydration?  Very important this time of year especially and not just water on long runs.  Get some electrolytes.  I like Tailwind for hydration/fuel combo.

Not that specific race but a different one covering some of those same trails. November is a perfect time to visit Moab!

Sup dudes.. What is the best biz credit card out there right now?

Just going for signup bonus? And have craploads to spend? Sapphire Reserve, Venture X, or Amex Plat.  For a more normal spend?  Ink cards.

Standing room only concert venues are the worst.  I want to relax with somewhere to set my beer.  If I wanted to be on my feet for 3 hours I’d go for a run.

Decent signup bonus for CSP right now. Try applying before downgrading.  It will give you a warning if you’re not eligible for the bonus and a chance to cancel before running your credit.

Thankfully haven’t had it in years, but poison ivy absolutely destroys me. Go get the steroids ASAP.  They used to give a multi day course of pills.  Sounds like it’s shots these days.

August in Kansas is a tough race date.  Good luck with the training, Sandstone.

I’m with you on the temps.  40F is perfect.  I’m a little spoiled having easy access to elevation/lower temps to escape the heat, but early mornings are definitely the key for summer.

"Numb" is a great song to enjoy about 40 minutes into a threshold run on a cool summer evening. Honestly a better feeling than the realization that you are shifting from Pak Level 2 => 3.

What are you training for?  Distance running thread!!

The second picture with the clouds below the mountaintops is great.

I also loved that you snapped a pic of some European mountain cows. I'm assuming that was a hot fence keeping them in? It kind of just looks like a string...maybe European cows are more docile or something.
The cows and their bells are a key piece of the Alp experience. And yes pretty docile from what I’ve seen.  There generally isn’t anything separating them from the trails.  Just an occasional gate between pastures.

Took the whole fam on a Euro trip.  After some time in Prague and Vienna, we stayed in a couple small villages in the Austrian Alps.  Summer activities are just opening up so both were nice and quiet.

Pertisau - Beautiful little resort town right on the Achensee.  We rented e-bikes for a pleasant ride up through pastures stopping at the Kasalm for lunch.  Then booked it back down to town to beat the rain.

Ehrwald - Took a cable car up to the main base area, hiked to the Seebensee and Hochfeldern Alm, then back down for a relaxing evening at the farm.

He's coached good, poachable players before, but it's mid May and the portal has been closed for weeks. Anyone who could get the hell out of North Florida left on the first thing smoking damn near two months ago.

True. But they aren’t tied to new schools yet. Could still poach them.

Is this campground pizza a regular thing they do?  What a treat after a long day on the bike.

Yep, it's a bit confusing for the palate.

I want to love them and keep trying. But I just don’t.

My parents did the Viking Rhine cruise from Amsterdam to Basel a couple years ago for their first over seas trip.  Absolutely loved it and still talk about it frequently.
