One of the bands told me I couldn’t do anything without permission anymore and it was our politician’s fault. I know this thread is mostly links but I have 1st hand MAGA. In Nashville, a singer just said the following”. I’m not trying to be political, but…. 100 years ago, you could……” and he named a bunch of things people do. Then he said, “I want you to name one thing you can do today without asking for permission”. And the crowd cheered. It was hilariously strange.
I on the other hand, got the stink eye from Mrs SF for naming all the awesome stuff I can do without permission, including all the stuff he named.
It was the perfect MAGA “I don’t… or I’m not….. but……..

I can anecdotally confirm low prices on eggs the last 2 weeks. 2 weekends ago the kroger here had all of them on sale for 99 cents a dozen (or 18-pack!) because nobody was buying them at regular prices and they were about to expire. Last weekend, the particular dozen I got had a sticker on them for $3.20 for expiring EOM.
If we all refuse to buy them at regular price, we can get shitloads for damn near free with a day to eat them all!
