Saw this on Danzel's twitter account:

Derricot is #12. Damn I wish he worked out here.
:bawl:

Checked some of Ervin's stats.  He had two triple-double's this year with a handful that were close.  He had 11 double-doubles, and those were a mix of points and rebounds and points and assists.

He scored in double digits In 28/32 games.

He was Region 2 POY.  Some of his playoff games are archived on NJCAA TV.
Kid can definitely play. Saw his highlights and was very impressed with him. VERY tough defender too.

http://sports.yahoo.com/kansasstate/football/recruiting/player-Andrew-Pryts-156528

Which one of the coaches recruits PA?

I would assume Andre
I guess Andre Graduated from the High school in PA this kid is from.

same HS as stephon taylor, but considering both of them have LSU offers, it'll be tough.
Heard he committed to LSU today

Damn.  It looks like I'm late to the party and the cool crowd has already chimed in and rendered a decision on Dishon.

He committed btw.

He is a big (305) and very athletic kid.  I was sold watching his video.  When he hurdled that kid and then kept his balance on one foot after being popped down the sideline...definite D-1 athlete.  And he is very powerful, too.

I especially like the comments wondering if he had flab in his dunk video.  This is a 300lb 17 year old stuffing one down.  Don't care if there is some flab because the kid has got to have some serious core strength and power to get that body up there.

Look at it this way...if he doesn't pan out at DL then we likely have an extremely athletic 320lb interior OL.
Kid is a beast!

@sportsinkansas: Trey Dishon of Horton (6-3 292 DL/TE), who originally committed to Northwest Missouri, has been offered a full ride by Kansas State.

Reeks of desperation.
The kid is actually one of the best athlete's I've seen in a while. He played point guard in basketball.  Had handles, could shoot from every where, and he is FAST for how big he is. He's a beast on the football field. It's not a bad get.

do you have eskiddybrains?
sure haha

So, I'd take Harrison as a transfer.  No joking.
Yes!!! Have no idea why he was overlooked in the recruiting process. Kid can straight ball.

Good Cover skills. Nose for the football. That speed tho!!! Not afraid to Lay the wood and he doesn't give up on plays. Sounds like our kind of player!

Kansas-Sports.com - ?@sportsinkansas Tristan Speer of Troy, a state wrestling champion/quarterback/defensive tackle/basketball player, has thrown 31 TDs to 1 INT this season.

Also has played running back -

what a stud, but is boomer soonered. pfffffft
He goes to Troy High in little Troy, Kansas. Not even five minutes down the highway from where i live. They play the weakest competition in the state. If he gets a scholly to Oklahoma for football, I will crap my pants.

Kasey Ford tweeted "Thanks K-State for the good day yesterday."

Keep in mind it's just speculation but I doubt we've given up on landing another guard. It seems more likely that rather than running off roach, he's being more pragmatic after receiving hype from the rivals ranking (maybe we were towards the bottom of the list, we were late on him). I bet a lot of programs have been in his ear talking all sorts of crap this week, he's probably rethinking strategy and saving an official by not taking a visit this weekend.

preferred guards in order:
-wendell mitchell (scores 30ppg!, rebounds and assists above average)
-landry shamet
-admon gilder (gilder can score the ball but averages less than one assist per game)
Wendell Michell would be great too. I just hope we open up one more scholarship

I just watched Landry Shamet's Hudl highlights and I'm only halfway through the video. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2287500/highlights/119735375
HE IS A STUD! What are our chances on this kid?

Where are all these new posters (shitty) coming from??  Did they finally shut down the scout board, or what?
are new people not welcome?

They are, just not shitty ones.
Pretty sure bookie was directing that at me. So does that make me a shitty poster? Lol

Keep posting, eskiddy. Let the haters hate and the posters post.
For sure! Will do!

I seen where bookie said that, but his saying so doesn't make you a shitty poster.  Making shitty posts does that.  To be clear, I'm not saying one way or the other.  Just pointing out the sufficient condition in order for a person to be a shitty poster.  Pastries for thought.
I'm just here to talk about Kstate sports. That's all I'm going to do

All the good K-State sports talk takes place in premium.  Were you able to get ahold of the mods for access yet?
No. Who is a mod I could message about it?
