Damn. It looks like I'm late to the party and the cool crowd has already chimed in and rendered a decision on Dishon.

He committed btw.

He is a big (305) and very athletic kid. I was sold watching his video. When he hurdled that kid and then kept his balance on one foot after being popped down the sideline...definite D-1 athlete. And he is very powerful, too.

I especially like the comments wondering if he had flab in his dunk video. This is a 300lb 17 year old stuffing one down. Don't care if there is some flab because the kid has got to have some serious core strength and power to get that body up there.

Look at it this way...if he doesn't pan out at DL then we likely have an extremely athletic 320lb interior OL.

He appears to have really good feet. DTs are so hit and miss anyways, nice to have a kid you appears to have the measurements of some of the more touted recruits. Has a chance to grow in to something special.

Yep. Great feet and watching him do someone those drills on hudl he has excellent change of direction. Really surprised a kid that big and athletic flew under the radar to this point. He has a ton of potential. Now we will get to find out what kind of player he is because he certainly passes the test on size, strength, and athleticism.

Ha. Which guy along our interior OL this past year did I refer to as "extremely athletic"? I've stated many times that Whitehair is a very good athlete for the guard position (which is why he does fine at tackle in college, too). I certainly would not have used the athletic tag for either Finney or Stiverson.
