Why is the metalhead v fanning beef still a thing? Did I miss something or did wacky just take a pot shot at him for no reason?

About mclane, sure the inside bowl around the field was nice. Sound system and ribbon boards were incredible. It felt a little bit like a roman coliseum. But there were so many things that were very small time-y and felt like a high school game. Like not having tv's or anything at all to keep you engaged in the game when you're standing in line for what seems like forever to get a drink, when they only have bottled dr pepper and water. There was an AstroTurf area where little kids played football and every once in a while a ball gets thrown into the ga area. Lots of weird things.

where were you sitting?

Most of the concessions have TV's on either side of the openings.

It feels good to control our own destiny. Serious question? Do we need Baylor to win this weekend?

Not losing at this point is far more important than the quality of the games we win.  If we win out to finish the season, two 1-loss teams above us are guaranteed to lose (TCU and loser of Auburn/Bama).  Florida State looks like it is capable of losing any game down the stretch, and Oregon has some pretty big games looming (including potential re-match with the Arizona team that beat them).

any 1 loss Big XII Champion should be in the playoff

I was impressed with your kids effort and with the quality of your O Line and D Line...  Obviously your guys played very well and you got Baylor's C game....  Congratulations on a very fine effort...  There are still many games left that you will win...  See you next year in best College Football only stadium in the Country...

I went to a game at Baylor once. If anybody went to a KC Wizards game when they were still the Wizards and played at Arrowhead, you can probably relate to the environment.

if you came during the Roberts/Steele/Morris era that's probably accurate... now not so much...


unless it's the 4th quarter with a 60 point lead...  I'm sure you can relate.

Rumblings that the tarp will be OFF for the Texas game.

Confirmed off & every ticket has been sold.  Secondary markets like StubHub are the only option for that game now.

Possibly coming off for ISU or OU.  OU is hard though because it's Thursday and most of the alumni have to drive in.

Baylor has about 12,500 undergrads, and about 50,000 alumni within driving distance of Waco...thanks to wandering in the Wilderness for most of our time in the Big XII (thanks alot Sloan, Stanton, Roberts, Steele and Morris) our attendance has not been good, but we are pulling in about 43,000-44,500 this year of just Baylor fans... we have yet to have a visiting crowd of more than 1k...

45k in a state of the art stadium is perfect for us right now... With Briles staying the future looks bright and we may start to develop a T Shirt following...as demand for tickets increases, the stadium is easily expandable

Well, TCU had a blackout for us, Iowa State broke their attendance record when KSU was in town, your fans stormed the field after tonight's game, Coal Aggie believed they would rebound against us and get Geno back into the Heisman race and KU threw every trick play in the playbook at us.  I'm sure there's other crap I'm forgetting, but everyone's circled their game vs KSU on their calendar this year.

Not that Baylor fans would know what it's like playing with a bullseye on your back, considering you've won 10 games twice in your program's history
