Kansas State Basketball is hard / Re: Respect America Thread!!!!

I am concerned that oscar should respect America more and have our basketball team ready for the National Anthem on TIME!!!!!!

Does anyone else agree?

The fact that we got no pregame tunnel dance was also another kick to the nuts!

I honestly haven't heard a KU fan complain about sharing the title, although I've seen plenty of K-State fans respond to things they think KU fans are going to say.

You should see my Facebook page then. Almost all of them are saying that its not the same and shouldn't count as a shared Title.

good post by j rake.

the composition of the big 12 is less interesting than ever, the quality of the big 12 is worse than ever and most of our games aren't competitive.

This is why I'm ready for KU to go to the Big 10.  If the Big 12 doesn't add Louisville and maybe Cincinnati or Florida State, then it's time to throw in the towel on this league and it's small minded shareholders.

Got a good laugh out of that. Thanks

If you had a magic wand and could make either Frank or Brucie Mcbaddass our coach tomorrow who would you pick?

The more i think about this the more I'm liking Weber more. Don't get me wrong, I loved Frank but i think we might just be better off with Weber. Sorry Teamburnitdown, Im off the team. Team Weber now :bwpopcorn:

Too late grabbed the wand earlier ( have some chicken nuggets d-bags )  it's good for ya....... in all seriousnous, remember when Frank had us in solo 1st?

Not sure why people are getting upset :dunno: Its only basketball, its not like its football. (The only sport that truly matters in college sports) Basketball is something people watch until spring ball starts. Don't worry guys we already won the BIG12 . Now just enjoy watching your rank CATS in round ball. I think its cute that Uk gets so pumped for this game.

With Holly Rowe tweets and pictures of Musburger floating around. Days like today make me feel pretty good to be a cat fan. Who's with me!?

EDIT!!

Its just basketball :dunno:

http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/content/blogs/blogging-the-buckeyes/2013/01/gee-to-athletic-council-big-ten-expansion-talks-ongoing.html

Quote
Gee told Athletic Council Big Ten expansion talks "ongoing"

Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee told the school’s Athletic Council in December that discussions about further expansion for the Big Ten conference are “ongoing.”

In November, the league announced the addition of Maryland from the Atlantic Coast Conference and Rutgers from the Big East. Nebraska joined the Big Ten for the 2011-12 school year after leaving the Big 12.

It doesn’t appear that the Big Ten is necessarily content to stay at 14 members. According to the minutes of the Dec. 5 Athletic Council meeting obtained by the Dispatch, Gee said “there has been ongoing discussion” about expansion and “believes there is movement towards three or four super conferences that are made up of 16-20 teams.”

When a student member of the Athletic Council asked Gee what direction the Big Ten might take, Gee said “there are opportunities to move further south in the (E)ast and possibly a couple of Midwest universities.”

He did not specify any potential targets but said they will make sure any new school has “like-minded academic integrity.”

The Athletic Council is expected to recommend formally today an increase in Ohio State football ticket prices from $70 to $79 with the addition of "premier" games that would cost significantly more. The board of trustees is expected to vote on the proposal late next week.

By the way Congrats KU.

So what the hell does this mean?  "Gee said “there are opportunities to move further south in the (E)ast and possibly a couple of Midwest universities.”  Really think they are talking about someone in the BIG12

I have no idea how someone like Kim can spend so much time on a rivals site. Do you not work? I guess being a Ku T-Shirt fan you probably don't. Get a job dude :jerk:

Fran is a dumbass.  Bob knows 1000x more about the game of basketball than Fran.  I also like bob's tv personality more than Fran's.

kim is one dedicated sock, but he lacks the entertainment value a good sock should have.

I drove to Marshall for that game and it pretty much sucked, really long boring shitass drive. The people were pretty nice though I guess.

Marshall is on flatland next to the river.  From Marshall to Morgantown is a beautiful mountain drive.

It is a beautiful state, I grew up outside of Huntington and my dad played basketball for Marshall back in the day. Grew up hating WVU  :shakesfist:

I always get kicked off that stream. Is it because so many people tuning in to listen to Frank?
