Next Four Out
Kansas State

:shakesfist:

A win on Saturday and we are likely showing up in the bracketology next week!   This team is climbing up the ladder and getting ready for a Final Four run!

Nice effort tonight for 20 minutes but it was obvious this team missed its head coach.   Let’s hope he’s back soon so we can get some conference wins.

$100 on us to win the National title wins $75,000 at William Hill.    Seems like a good gamble to me!

4
This team is destined for great things!    We are looking like a final four contender now!

I foresee a big run to start the 2nd half and a come from behind victory for the wildcats!

Kansas State Basketball is hard / Re: Potential transfers and new guys
« on: April 15, 2021, 12:17:17 PM »
Some of you guys need new material. We've had a great spring in recruiting. I'm optimistic. Go cats!

I don't know how you can claim it's no big deal that we lose Dejuan and then do backflips when we get someone objectively worse in every statistical category other than 3pt%.
Dejuan never lived up to his hype. I loved his energy, but he was raw. The #burnitdown crowd wants to elaborate how much oscar sucks for losing shitty players they never liked in the first place and ho hum about legit level transfers coming in. It's so bizarre. The 'zifried's of the world are like "oscar sucks at not getting good juco players like Justin Williams "" and never lands legit transfers!" and BOOM! He's rough ridin' crickets, planning his next attack on the next goalpost to move. Everything that was requested of oscar to keep his job if he was going to stick around, has been delivered since the end of the season. Let some of us glow a bit and stop stuffing stat sheets down your eyeballs, at these players last stops, at other shitty squads.

My point is you call Dajuan shitty and Massoud legit despite that Massoud has been objectively worse (and was also a highly rated recruit that did not live up to the hype).   It isn't that I have a burn it down agenda, I'm looking at data.  It's that you want to be right in propping oscar up more than you want KSU to be good at basketball.

Massoud was forced to play out of position at Wake Forest though and this will not happen as a Wildcat.   He will be an integral part of the team next year that wins the Big 12 and contends for a national championship.

oscar and the rest of the coaching staff have done a great job of developing these kids throughout the season.   I think the experience gained in 2020-2021 will lead to another Big 12 title for Weber and the Cats next season.

9
These slow starts have hurt us all year.   I hope these young players can correct that before the Big 12 tourney or we have no chance to win it.

Top 100 recruit Kyle Cuffe Jr.  to announce decision this Saturday.   Would be a great get for the program! https://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/university-of-kansas/article247825005.html

It doesn't matter what they say now.....by the time the season starts, Covid is going to be so bad, there will either be no fans or no games.   Wait and see.....this country is headed towards gloom and doom.

Land his AAU teammate Davion Bradford now and we’ll have a full class of studs (pending any transfers).   The future is looking bright!

I think Demir committed to Minnesota.

This is why you play teams like we scheduled early in the season.   We'll be fine.....it's just taking the team a few games to gel and shake the rust off.  By the end of this month, the same people saying our season is over will be back here proclaiming we are final four bound.

Good to see we won the scrimmage and has as much as a 20 point lead.   It’s going to be a magic year for Cat basketball!  https://mobile.twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/status/1056311219693457409/photo/1

:Woot:
We made the final cut for EJ Liddell.  He and McKinney would like to play together since are both from St.  Looie.  We offered scholarships to both.

Those two along with Murphy would be a fantastic start to our 2019 class (even adding one of them would be a pretty dang good start if they take separate paths)

So what's going on with McCullar recruiting?  I am about to bust a gut waiting for good news.

Decision coming tomorrow.   Let’s hope he becomes a Cat!

Price-Noel 2018 6-7 guard from.Arkansas offered yesterday

This kid is in the 2018 class and I believe we only have one scholarship left to offer.   If he elects to be a Wildcat, are we still in on McCullar?   Is there another upcoming departure we are not aware of?

Do we have any new serviceable bigs? :ohno:

Trust Makol.  He is our Bellcow.

Don't forget about Trice.   He's going to give us a much better presence on the boards than we ever had this past year.

These three would look good as the cornerstones of KSU basketball for the next 3-4 years......

oscar should be fired for cause here, honestly. Probably Gene, too.

There is a good chance they knew none of these details as the investigation was taking place.   They suspended him as soon as he was detained and the media now is just getting accounts of what happened.

Can't blame anyone for not taking action when nothing is known of the situation.
