Welcome back, Jack. I look forward to this place getting back on track now that you and Overtheroadtruckdriver will be running the mod room. Perhaps we should get a Prison forum built to rehabilitate some of these wayward posters.

The guy in the middle is not real. Doesn't exist. Just a hologram to fill in for debate team photo ops. Probably designed by combining Landru with Tom Penders.

Nice pic, Harry. Sums things up nicely.

Let me start my first goEMAW post by throwing a steeming cup of reality on the credibility of PigAggie....

The first fact related to the elite institution in Manhattan is that the number two executive in the C Suite at the chcicken company located right down the street from Ark is a 1982 graduate of K-State. In fact, even the CEO,didn't think enough of PigAggy to attend school there. Instead, he went for the higher education institution up in the northeast (of Fayetteville) called UT in Knoxville, TN. He was obviously wanted a real education along with a tradition of FB excellence.

Secondly, I see talk on this family blog referring to The Walton School of business at said PigAggy. Welp, the related giant retailer, who possesses a similar namesake, choose the the local office of a global accounting firm whose lead managing partner graduated from......yep, Kansas State!

So essentially, in less than 200 words, I've illustrated that not only do we have elite graduates from K-State but that we essentially control the two largest companies in Arkansas. It's actually somewhat easy to understand the anger and envy being thrust upon the fine constituents of Kansas State. I can only hope this non-relevant bowl match-up doesn't further pale the sad esteem of otherwise fine country folk.

I purposely avoided the legacy of the Clinton family as that would be considered piling on....btw, the later is a football term PigAggy, just in case your wondering.

First off, what did you really illustrate exactly? Secondly, it's great that KState produced a nice number 2. Congrats on that. Perhaps we can continue to play six degrees of Kevin Bacon to find something relevant you can connect to someone from Kstate. It could produce another number 2 so, that's a plus. Thirdly, you know Knoxville is actually south of Fayetteville right? Finally, any time you use essentially, you're essentially making a stretch. Nice try though.

First post here - been lurking for years, registered a few weeks ago but never felt the need to post.  Generally other people's posts are far more interesting than anything I could contribute and that's why I like it here.  Recent influx of posters however have dramatically lowered the quality of the board as a whole.  It's a testament to just how low-quality the contributions of these recent additions are when the majority of the most active posters won't even engage with them.

Looking forward to there being interesting exchanges of wit and debates again.

So, about the choice of muqluk. You doing any seal hunting in the Arctic soon? Paying tribute to Salsa bikes?  Just curious.

I just watched big train bang a waitress in a bar bathroom. I think he's doing just fine, sir!

Did you or tbt notice "she" had an Adam's apple before or after y'all 3 went in the shitter together?

I mean we all know that "supply chain management" is just fancy words for "Walmart shelf stocker".

Lol, you have the business savvy of a small salad bar. Keep us posted though on how that dirt and plant thing works out.

Anyone else ever been to The Roost over off 9th St on Massachusetts St? Best breakfast in the state if you ask me. Cat head buttermilk biscuits the size of a compact car and pretty darn good gravy.

There isn't a mass st in manhattan

Well, maybe I had the wrong city. Kansas'll do that to a person. Still, The Roost makes a darn good breakfast. Good joint.

Known KU/UT fan/alumnus here. These HOG ppl are just awful. It's really harshing my winter break buzz. Whose idea was this? And who thought it would be a funny joke to gift them Strunk & White's for Xmas? This blog is unreadable at the time I need it the most. On the other hand, they are really making you their bitch, and it's quite disappointing, especially since Choo Choo is the de facto defender of all things EMAW. Just a really disappointing showing all around, and it has me questioning my BBS fandom.

I'm sorry you dropped a deuce this morning, went to wipe with a cheap single ply and then immediately regretted not trimming up that hang nail.  Did you just penetrate the paper on the first wipe and barely graze the shitty undercarriage or did you go all in to the point that you're having doubts as to whether you really got all your crap out from under your finger nails?

Either way, best of luck.

Spoke to J.Holly, he says his gout is flared up pretty bad.  Not sure what it means but it sure means something. We ought to get the Flaming Spectral Head of Daryl Royal put back away probably.  Anyway, he says he's still banned which is good because if we're really honest I could use some of that punitive money to pay direct TV before they come for the dish.

Spoke to Darrell Royal's Floating Flaming Fulminating Spectral Head this evening. Said he had nothing to do with Pondwater Jack's gout because he's been trying to find this site. Said he kept running into blue emu commercials and something about purple head goo in maw. I suppose his lack of a torso and limbs is in part to blame for his web browsing issues.

he could get a torso transplant from Creepy Barstool Torso Jack Elam, if that kind of surgery is safe

I bet they can work that kind of surgery in over a weekend these days.

I seem to remember a good breakfast buffet joint when passing through Manhattan many years ago. Can't remember the name of it but they had cat head buttermilk biscuits the size of a lap dog with pretty good sausage gravy and some decent waffles. I seem to remember it being on a numbered street or maybe some street about a fish of something. Y'all know what place I'm thinking about? Damnit, had I not been thinking about it, I could have named it.

Kites?

Kites seems to be the choice here. Doesn't ring a bell to me though. Place I'm thinking of had a blue door and was on a numbered street, I believe. I seem to remember it having a neon sign out front. Perhaps this Kites place wasn't always Kites? I'll see if I can jog my uncle's memory cause he was with me and had those cat head buttermilk biscuits that were the size of a Rottweiler. Maybe he'll remember it cause I can't seem to recall.

I was here a few years ago and really enjoyed the board.  I am a razorback fan and Arkansan and look forward to some good debate about this big game.

Not here to stir up any problems.  That much I guarantee.
Maybe you should go over the cliff instead of the road  :dunno:

Here I am just trying to fit in on what seems to be a pretty decent football board and a mod tells me to drive off a cliff.  No wonder there are so few members.  Maybe they have all taken this advice and driven off a cliff.

There are some troublemakers from Arkansas on here.  I have a reputation for building bridges and bringing people together, not conking people in the head with a shovel.

I'll vouch for OTR. Take game day, for example. OTR goes and gets the story behind the story on game day activities. Things like, for example, half time adjustments. You betcha. OTR has the scoop all the way down to rehydration science and second half productivity enhancement through efficiency driven caloric intake needs. OTR also has a knack for game day meteorological impact insights and precipative statistics towards probable benefit and permutation outcome analysis. He also has a degenerate, compulsive gambling dog, which is always a plus.

holy crap this place is boring - I'm falling asleep

too late to get some bowl against Central Michigan or somebody? anybody
Fans of those schoolswould probably get just as excited as Hog fans over playing the Insight bowl.  You can't expect a helmet program like KSU to get excited about playing a rinky dink bowl against a small time opponent.

Arkansas fans treat this game like the Super Bowl.  KSU fans treat it like the Pro Bowl.

I love how you guys already know you're going to lose so your defense mechanism is to discredit the game.
I'm sure your players would love to know how their fans felt about their hardwork this year.
MY team turned down a bowl invite this year because...who gives a damn about crappy bowls that will hurt the image of our program?

Why are you even here?

Living vicariously through other bowl teams?

Moist Madeline Albright will be our initial emissary towards the reinstatement on Pondwater Jack, aka Jack Holly Blasingame. Who's the emaw brass round here that manages bantments?

Dickstone

Prolly won't be much dick or stone left after visiting with good ol Moist Madeline Albright.
I telling you guys if this Moist Madeline Albright is a fresh meaty meat goat, you'll all be banned!!!  :horrorsurprise:

Once you see Madeline Albright, especially when moist, you'll be wishing for any kind of meaty meat goat.

Slatherdome are we confusing Manhattan with Salina?

I'm pretty sure it was Manhattan. Maybe near downtown? Definitely a number street.

I do think the place had a neon sign out front. I'll remember it at some point. Good breakfast. Not sure about the rest of the menu. Definitely was on a number street.
