Kansas State Football / Re: man...can we do it?
« on: January 03, 2012, 04:04:04 AM »
such a big game friday, what a great opportunity to sneak into the top 5 to finish the year and shove some big 12 pride into the faces of the universe inhabitants.

i hope we can do it, but have a bad feeling. but you know after watching osu...we nearly beat that team...maybe we are good? but why can't we kill teams? this 2011 cat football team...you just never know.

CATS

Just think... if we win, you can make a new "birth of k-state football" and add this season...

Where's that Tannoudji guy? I'm sure he'd like to chime in on this.

'Noudji tried to warn you people about Francisco Martinez and his terrible coaching. Did anybody want to listen? Does Frank even acknowledge that there are hoops recruits in this state west of US-75??? When was the last time he signed a Tyrell Reed, Jordan Junneman or Perry Ellis? Instead we get a bunch of Clementines, Diaz's, Rodriguez'es and Henriquez's. Say so long to our once-proud Wildcat hoops tradition, senors.

Seriously, I want to apologize to the board, to Frank, all my KSU professors, and the whole Wildcat nation for my  :flush: posting in this thread.

We tried to get Perry Ellis... he chose ku

Is everyone on this board Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)? I think we beat ku mu and baylor to start the season. I have no idea why all you "fans" think we look bad?

These will  only look good if everyone has the tinted eye screens on their helmets, which I doubt will happen... too bad

First Fitz ruins the Gary Patterson deal, now this. We might as well cancel next season.

No, I have no semi-nationalistic view of my state. I know there are difficulties that we have overcome and still need to overcome. I just wonder why many folks on here would rather engage in schoolyard provocation tactics than actually have an intelligent and civil discussion on what seems to be a very popular topic.

So when you say you want a "civil discussion" you actually mean you want to have another "civil war"? Let's be honest here, the only reason Arkansas accepted a bid to the "Cotton bowl" was so they could re-establish plantations in the south. I'm sick and tired of people like you. You already lost the civil war, you're about to loose the Cotton bowl. K-State's victory will signify racial equality for all.

No, I said civil discussion. If you want to make a thread where you make things up based on similar words, you can do that in the corner by yourself.

Maybe I will! Racist!

you should be backhanded for speaking to a male that way

See?  That's offensive to me.  I survived 15 years of an abusive marriage where I was backhanded--and kicked, and shoved, and kicked and choked and...and...and...
And after 2 years of being divorced (Thank God I finally got my crap together and could divorce him!), I can tell you quick, fast and in a hurry--the absolute next man that strikes me in anger will DIE.  I will kill him.  I will cut off his balls and choke him with his own testicles.  I have no tolerance for abuse.

You don't know who you're talking to on the internet, so you should perhaps be a little more diplomatic with your smart-assedness!

Oh...and Hellhammer?  I should scare you--trust me, I'm so not someone you would give this much crap to in real life.

Of course you were in an abusive relationship... you're from Arkansas

I would like to call ON ALL Arkansans to post something about the Gawker City Twine Ball as a sign of respect to our opponents!

Twine??? Your talking about twine? In Arkansas we are forward thinking. Come and find yourself a diamond.
Whats next, the lint museum in Lint Valley???

www.craterofdiamondsstatepark.com/

Everyone knows the whole diamond thing is just a ploy to lure in wealthy folk so you can kidnap them and eat their brains. The closest thing anyone in Arkansas has come to a diamond is on a Jared commercial during an episode of IRT: deadliest roads.

Quote
According to reports from UCFSports.com, UCF is in discussions to play two games with the Sooners, starting with the Knights hosting Oklahoma in Orlando next year. This game would replace the opening potentially left by Kansas State, who intends on backing out if the Big 12 keeps a nine-game conference schedule in 2012

It all depends on WVU.  If the Moutaineers are here in 2012, we'll drop UCF.  If the Moutaineers can't get out of the Big East in time, we'll keep UCF.

West Virginia sucks. Their fans are about as big of hillbillys as the pigaggys. I bet there's just as much incest going on in West Virginia as there is in Arkansas. Hell, half the state probably shares the same family tree. Can't believe we skipped over Louisville for WV. We are now one step closer to being as racist as the SEC.

in all seriousness, the best case scenario is let Snyder run this train into the ground so hopefully the next guy has low/no expectations for the first two year and there will be no one calling for "continuity" or similar nonsense. I'm talking like a couple of 3 or 4 win seasons before a coaching change

Tried that with Prince... Snyder's last 3 seasons we're comparable to Prince's when he took over and he still got the meat grinder. Our bet bet is that Snyder get's a bionic heart and will live forever

NO. Bill told everyone the time was right to leave because we were returning lots of players and were going to be good in 2006.

Those players who wrangled a string of 4 and 5 win seasons were due to break out in '06 under the superlative guidance of Prince

Here's a cool stat.  In the same period of time quoted above, KState has only beaten an SEC opponent once.

At least we have shoes in Kansas.

ECO CAT saves his first seven posts for Charlie Weis related threads.  Scared sh*tless.

I'm scared we may be the only team in Kansas with a DI football program after ku falls victim to a few more 2-10 seasons. Can't keep buying out these contracts forever...

I think this hire could turn out to be worse than Gill.  Not joking.

I agree. His wife and daughter sill live in Florida and aren't moving. The "rock chalk forever" quote above must mean forever over the next 2 seasons until he gets canned. Or until he's done using ku for a paycheck and moves back to Florida. Bet he never even looks back.
