Kansas State Football / Re: Snyder
« on: October 18, 2015, 12:53:22 PM »
I'm not saying it's not happening, but I can't conceivably think of a single reason why Bill would go to such great lengths to get Sean the job.  If he has to prop him up that much, he's obviously going to fail.

I'm beginning to think more and more that "Sean" is more or less a code word for his entire staff.  He knows that none of the coordinators have a chance to get the job, and Sean does due to his age and name.

Sean will survive the transition in some capacity because of his name.  It may be a cushy job in the AD or something, but he'll be fine.  But Dana, Seiler, Coleman, etc. will be cast out to the wind.  Administrative staff?  Gone.  If Currie goes outside the "family", there's a strong chance that all of these cultural/legacy things he's tried to build will simply disappear.  I don't think he's comfortable with that at all, and I think Sean is probably the reluctant, dutiful son that's been tasked with taking over for his father so all of his people inside of the program, including people like Joan, are taken care of.

I mean it all fits together if you believe the rumors that Sean doesn't even want the job.  I really believe that Bill is simply staying so everyone in his locus of control is taken care of.  He's just sticking around so everyone can keep their jobs.

When they went outside the family for the last hiring (Prince) did they have this type of turnover?

Oh I'm sorry, did you guys start confusing yourselves with a team that hasn't tasted the sweet flavor of victory gravy yet this season?! Oh, I apologize for your wizard genius coach after twenty five franking years finally succumbing to the throes of hoof and mouth induced dementia, not unlike what a certain program has been addicted to for the past five years.

This pity party sucks. You guys can Frank your faces. I am goddamn KU football fan and every Saturday for like a billion years I lace up my arms and shoot up needles full of self loathing and burning pain.

You guys knew this was coming and you didn't appreciate every moment that child soul sacrificing agent of the Dark One gave you... Damn you you for forcing me into this post.

I forgot how ruthless the Leti saga was. Surprising that Currie can rally the fan base when so much shady, frankly "mean" activity is going on. Incredible post OP.

The only way it's even remotely possible is to make it all the way to the championship game in KC, and even then it'll probably require winning the whole thing in KC which is extremely unlikely.

Not only that, but it would have to against the top teams, not against any upsets in the bracket.

Ksu has one of the most incredibly odd resumes I've ever seen. The BigXII was so solid it provided shot after shot against ranked teams to get good wins. But the losses to the really bad teams are what I believe still points to oscar being oscar. How long would years like this with occasionally getting into the tourney keep oscar as the coach?

The lengths learnin and dave will go to praise oscar is an amazing thing to behold

Even on the phog, which is packed with super tards, the game of pdave and learnin is beyond compare.

It's a win for everyone.

Fantasy situation...

Mu hires Curry who then conducts a certain Dallas hotel room meeting with oscar and Gene Keady. oscar explains all the things that went wrong, namely the players, and then moves on to MU. That's a true win win gents.

I don't remember if I met A-L at vegasPAK or if he just gave us some recommendations, but I believe he's a friend of gE.

Oh I was there. But I don't remember much. Good times.

Not condescending just empathetic. I'm a KU football fan too so I know all about burning piles of crap. but damn does my tone come off tuckish.

The more I read this the more plausible it sounds. Team is pissed rather then dejected post season. No one departs. Barry comes in and plays at a devonte graham level. Hurt has to get better. Bolden has to get better. DJamer is another non-pussy. If Foster and Wes and, maybe, Edwards or Johnson stop being uber bitches this could be a seriously fast turn around.

Sorry bros but the last few weeks havnt even been entertaining BBS'ing and this joint needs a few smiles. Keep your heads up kids.

So I'm gonna step out on a limb and go all mega optimist and paint a Picasso.

Kats 2015-2016

This is whether it's oscar or not.

Player that returns that gets better... marcus and Wes. Both pick back up the freshman trajectory that had the rest of the league thinking the kats would be dangerous this year.

Dude that was all wtf this year but does something next year... Tre. Three point specialist that sits outside and allows Foster to get all super crazy everywhere else.

Freshman don't completely blow... Barry comes in and lives up to the hype and Wade is a serviceable big body.

Most important player... DeefuckingJay. Bro comes back and inject stoughness into locker room. Grabs Bolden by balls and says I'm the only fukker with dreds shave that pussy. Replaces Gipson production and inspires the rest of low post to be non vaginas.

Currie is amazing at money but terrible at coaches and hiring coaches.

How many coaches does he get to hire before he too is canned? Also, would he leave before getting fired cuz he's a super douche bitch (look at that face) if he heard footsteps?

Frank offering him a scholarship and then continually renewing it is the one thing that makes me question if Frank was just batshit crazy.

Could a person in this group still  go to a game if they got a free ticket?

You could even pay as much as $15 (for a Saturday game against a Big 12 opponent) and still be more than welcome.

I think if you're part of #trdgsa it's essential you go to a game. Cuz, ya know, you song give a crap.

Just observing and scouting the kats, totally neutral as it's so early... But damn it just pisses me off watching Spradling do anything.
