i've never been their before

Are you rough ridin' serious? And you wonder why they mock us.

Oh well. At least we're going to destroy them on the field.

Clinton went to Georgetown, Oxford, Yale. Got the eff out of arkiesaw as quickly as possible for his education.
Ross Perot?

He was on the faculty at the UA law school, I'm assuming that's what the previous poster meant.

OK, I lied.  In reality, I think Arkansas' credibility is tarnished by having to play KSU in the Cotton Bowl.  And, after reading this message board, I can now only guess that KSU fans aren't functionally that different than a bunch of Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) fagots trying to figure out how to jerk off onto one another.

If you're going to call them retards  and homosexual slurs please use proper spelling and grammar. You are merely reinforcing the stereotypes that they are mocking.

Haha, we do have some dense fans and some assholes as well. But most of our fan base is very hospitable and knowledgeable about college football.

I apologize to both fan bases (KSU and USC) for the Arkansas folks that have been rude morons. If you're in Fayetteville in two years stop by and have a beer at my tailgate, visiting fans are always welcome.

Spurrier and Snyder are both hall of famers that have accomplished amazing things this year. For USC to go 10-2 without Lattimore for half of the season and to have to deal with the quarterback issues was truly amazing. As for Snyder, at his age to come out of retirement and bring KSU back from the dead, he should be coach of the year in my opinion.

The cotton bowl is the third best matchup of the year behind only the Fiesta and National title game. I'm very much looking forward to taking on the wildcats. It should be a good one

First and foremost, don't worry, I am not trolling.

I ended up here because a link to the thread "does playing Arkansas hurt our image" was bought up in a USC (South Carolina, not Southern Cal...trash me if you want, but we were founded first haha) message board. Thought it was hilarious how quickly it became obvious that Arkansas fans are clueless about most things in life.

Also, while I am a USC alum and fan, all my family is from Wichita and while we are all KU fans (for the most part), I have still found time to watch you guys every weekend on FX or SportsSouth because I think LHC LHC LHC Bill Snyder is the most underrated coach of all time and Colin Kiline is blatantly the Tits McGee. I remember when I was little when El Roberson and Darren Sproles (especially the 03 B12 CG) used to tear up defenses. Even the Cotton Bowl against Tennessee. Good days.

Anyways, as I mentioned above and by looking through other threads, you've come to realize that Arkansas fans are complete douchebags. I have no doubt one of them will see this thread and immediately start talking about how they whooped our ass this year. Which is fine, we haven't beaten them in like 5 years. We didn't even expect to beat them this year.

I wanted to say congratulations on the amazing season. I wish Snyder was only 45 years old and the college football world was granted 20 more years of watching him. On top of that, watching Colin Kline fall the ground after the loss to OSU, after such a hard fought drive (and entire game) was a honestly little heartbreaking, even for a KU fan. I can't get over how much a baller that kid is. He deserves a lot more attention.

Good luck in DFW!

I think you guys can beat Arkansas because while they do have an extremely high-powered offense, so did OSU. Our offense just simply wasn't good enough to keep up.

Cant come up with your own name, gotta borrow from Arkansas?

Personally, I think Issouri, Sissippi, Abama, Aware, York, Gina or Tucky would have been better choices.

Kansas State, how original.

Jesus Christ, I thought the KSU folks on here were bad. If you haven't realized that this site is all satire I really don't know what to tell you. Getting mad and posting stupid rough ridin' attacks on KSU serves no purpose.

Take a rough ridin' chill pill.

To the OP,

It took me a minute to catch it, but this is just a satirical website. KSU supporters aren't assholes and they're not idiots.  Don't let this stuff get to you man, grow some thicker skin!

Kansas State Football / Greetings from Arkansas!

Hey guys, I just wanted to say hello from Arkansas and let you know that I am very much looking forward to our match-up in the Cotton Bowl. If you've started to visit the Arkansas boards I want to apologize for the vocal minority of Razorback supporters who are disappointed with the match up. I, for one, am thrilled about getting a top ten match up in prime time, on network television, in a bowl that has zero competition in its time slot. Both teams are disappointed about missing out of the BCS and there's no doubt that the Big XII and SEC deserved 3 bids each this year. But the rules are the rules as they say.

I don't follow football outside of the SEC as closely as I should, so I'm looking forward to learning more about y'alls team. I really like what I've seen out of Collin Klein though and I can tell you that he has the potential to be a nightmare matchup for us. We have not shown an ability to really contain mobile quarterbacks this year.

Our strengths are throwing the ball and special teams.

Tyler Wilson is a tough quarterback who has an incredible ability to stand in the pocket and take hits. He spends more time on his ass than I would like though as our offensive line is very green.

I believe that we have the best four deep at receiver in the country. Jarius Wright, Joe Adams, Cobi Hamilton, and Gregg Childs are all capable of having a 100 yard night at any time. Chris Gragg at the tight end spot has also had a 100 yard game this year against Mississippi State.

The running game has been suspect at times, but Dennis Johnson and Broderick Green have started to right the ship since recovering from major injuries. Knile Davis, our preseason All American has missed the entire season due to an ankle injury. There has been some speculation that he might play in the bowl game but it's pretty unlikely. As far as Broderick and Dennis go, BG is a big back who very solid in 3rd and 2 or less type situations. He's a very solid goal line back. Dennis is the every down back and he is very tough to tackle. He's short and thick and he's got great speed. A lot of people refer to him as a bowling ball. As long as he isn't fumbling the ball (which he has been known to do) he is a great back.

Joe Adams has returned a couple of punts for TD's this year and he is incredibly elusive. The aforementioned Dennis Johnson is one of the best kick returners in the game when he's healthy. Both Johnson and true freshman Marquel Wade have returned kickoffs for touchdowns this year.

Our linebackers are fast but undersized. Sometimes they tackle well, sometimes I'm not sure what's going on. Jerry Franklin is the leader of that unit but he's definitely playing out of position. He would have made a hell of a strong safety in my opinion.

The strength of the D line is the ends.  Starters Jake Bequette (preseason all American) and Tank Wright both missed a good portion of the season due to injuries, but they're healthy now.

In the secondary, safety Tramain Thomas is the guy to look out for. He can really be a ball hawk.

Anyway, I'm happy to answer any questions about my team that y'all might have. I am really looking forward to seeing y'all in Arlington. Best of luck and here's to an injury free game.

Wooo Pig Sooie!
