Obviously it's a forgone conclusion that we'll easily beat ISU by double digits...

So, IF OU beats OSU, how will you celebrate the Big 12 title?

I am going to savor a nice bourbon and light a cigar off a flaming picture of  Saddam Hussein, then wake up on Sunday morning and go for out for some nice Dim Sum.

Give me some of what you are drinking!

name one accomplishment in the recent history of ISU football that would lead us to believe that ISU has a snowball's chance in hell of winning.
Nobody knows history better than your coach father time.  As for recent history, ISU was two kicks away from winning the North in the 2000's.  Insert Chiz who effed it all up and now our coach is one of the most up and coming coaches in the country.  Accomplishment?  Beating #2 two weeks ago and changing the BCS landscape, is that big enough for you?

When was the last time ISU beat more than 1 ranked team in a season?

Well the have beaten 2 this season.

  You're counting Tech?
#17 in the country when we whooped their ass.  Why are we even discussing this?  KState has had about as much success as ISU through the years.  If it wasnt for father time KSU would be nothingness like it was when he left.  And it will be nothingness when he is gone in a season.

Great 1 more B12 trophy than us.

Kansas State Football / Re: *Pro TiP* LOL @ 2004 & 2005
« on: December 01, 2011, 01:22:08 PM »
the years were 2004 and 2005 and they were the pinnacle of iowa state's meager football existence.

the dan mccarney led cyclone_birds were leading the north division two years in a row heading into their final games. everything on the line and a win earns them a spot in the ccg.

the final game of the 2004 season they had at home.
if they can just beat a missouri team who heading into the game/final week of conference play had amassed a total of 2 wins in b12 play and the cyclone_birds go to the conference championship game.  instead, they lost 17-14 OT at home against a 2-5 mu team and played in the independence bowl.

the final game of the 2005 season they had in lawrentucky.
KU.  if they can find a way to win against the then 2-5 garbage KU team in lawrentucky, the cyclone_birds take the b12 north and play in the conference championship game.  surely it can't happen 2 years in a row can it?  LOL good grief, can't these gingers get it right?  final score?  a 21-24 OT loss to the hapless jayhawks and a well deserved spot in the houston bowl.

i cannot stress enough what a crap program that is coming into MHK this weekend and what a complete crap team and history they bring with them.  i encourage each and every EMAW to mock  /PI the living crap out of every USC-wanna be ginger you come in contact with this weekend and show no regard for their trash existence.

isu------------>   :flush:

So you are basing this season on 2004?  7 years ago?   :bang:

Those numbers a skewed due to weak defense in the first part of the season.  ISU has gone crazy on defense over the last month.  The Clones win this one by at least a td.

OU had 253 yards rushing and averaged 5.6 YPC. KU had 174 and averaged 4.5 YPC. But yeah, nice job holding down Tech and OSU, 2 of the worst 3 rushing teams in the Big 12.

Ya because stats won those games for KU and OU.  crap we held OU to 26 points did K State?  Hell no just like OSU their defense got pounded on.

We have a defense too.  Be afraid.

Iowa State is 98th in run defense?
