so I heard about a place that's suppose to have authentic mexican street tacos, and it's also a mexican meat market, it's at 6th and Branner and it's got a big orange garage door or something, anyways it sounds legit, so I'll report back

also has anyone been to tacos el mexicano (with a name like that you know it's good)? heard it's good too  :dunno:

Edit: after doing some google street mapping it looks like the place with the orange garage  door may or may not be called carniceria camecuaro

Orange garage door place is pretty good.  Is TelM on California?  If so, its good.  Also Tacos el Sol on 6th is a winner and the place on Belle has great carne asada tacos.

Saw him at Taco Lucha Sunday evening.  Looked relaxed...no pain. Kind of like this:  :dubious:...except not dubious.

The thing I remember from that game is that Byron Houston was ridiculously ripped.

Remember when Byron and Wylie Howard mixed it up?   :bitchslap:

Gross.  Currie needs media training.  It's not that expensive or hard to do.  Hell, I'll in-kind it.

Currie's look is bizarre.  Like when a 3 yr old is learning to smile.  Weirdo.

It's not lost.  There are about 4,653 different ways to put it into a budget of some sort...Obama is doing what he should do - positioning.

Relax gang.  Rolling out budgets is much the same as a Wally Judge pregame dunk show - really cool, fear/awe inspiring, but not really in any way part of the actual game.

This is how it's done:

Whew...I was about to soil these Funyuns with a KFC famous bowl.

God Damn Famous Bowls!

What are you?  dadboner?  Gross.  On a side note, I just did my humanitarian duty for the day and fished two Clones out of the river.  Their old truck blew a tire and off the bridge they went.  They were on the way to the game but decided to head home on a Greyhound after they lost all their provisions which included a cooler full of taco meat, an old milk jug filled with PBR and a couple hogs.

1. Open personal sized bag of Doritos
2. Let a dog take a dump in said bag
3. Climb back on tractor and enjoy

Brent: "...and Blackmon is down for the count!  Looks like he was kicked right between the uprights.  You know folks, some may have questioned the 'ol Coach's mindset in replacing Hartman with Cantele, but once the junior from Wichita got #81 in the crosshairs, he really let him have it."

Kirk: "Looked like he was going for a touchback!"

Brent: "Lets go down to our buddy Jack Arute.  Hey Pardner, did Cantele actually touch back with that boot? heh heh"

Quote
I don't know how anyone could list to TGs show and gain any confidence in him as a coach. I know public speaking isn't a pre-requisite for being a football coach, but they guy can barely string together coherent sentences or thoughts. All it does is add to the perception he is in over his head and doesn't have the intelligence to be a head coach. He really can't articulate any sort of intelligent thought. He just repeats the same phrases and words over and over.

Contrast that with Reggie Mitchell who I heard on the radio this week. He was well-spoken, articulate, and made some really intelligent points about the program.

I recognize radio interviews aren't the benchmark for coaching ability, but it really makes you wonder if TG is intelligent enough to be a head coach.

WELL SPOKEN, ARTICULATE!

Guy should win a Nobel Prize (if turd polishing were a category)  Those morons don't know what they have...it's like giving a Picasso to a bunch of blind leprechauns.

Jesus, how much rough ridin' time does this guy spend just reading them Websters definitions of words.   :jerk:

Can't tell if Turner is the dummy or his players are that stupid collectively and he's "coaching down" to their intellectual level.  He just floats around aimlessly, defining words, quoting made up stuff about football and hoping for the best.

My favorite part is that about 45 seconds after the halftime speech of Turner telling them to "execute" and "DO YOUR JOB!" Tyler Lockett is streaking down the sideline.

The production value is insane.  Time for the Board of Regents to make an executive decision and trade out the respective video teams   immediately.  Looking forward to Cat Gridiron next week and KU's new intro video "Proud of This House" (built with long jump pits, tenacity and a hill).

lots of grumblings that lockett was on the take in that one.  LOTS.

What was the spread?  I've mostly forgotten specific plays from that game...did he crap it up?  Honestly can't remember much other than the punt block and Quincy buckling JT Thatcher's knee.

Was pretty confident heading in.  Finishing up my time at KSU (graduated a year later).  Bought a bedsheet at Walmart the Sunday before and painted it up with a message: "BRING ON THE TRAITORS - SCREW OU!" All purple letters except for OU (carefully titrated correct crimson and OU was an exact representation of their logo.  Message was pretty mean, but we were still hurting from '98.  Banner was then hung from our porch on Anderson.  Received lots of compliments and was featured by a visiting OKC TV station on their back home newscast.  Said banner was stolen from porch by drunken Sooners on Friday night (they probably needed it for warmth since their trailer wheels were flat and they were all sleeping in a truck bed  :ck:

Went out to Aggieville on Friday and got into some good natured trash talk with Sooners.  Ended up climbing onto a table at Porter's and leading a packed bar in the K-S-Uuuuuu chant.  Got several in before the bouncers were able to wade through the crowd and remove me.  Hopped down off the table and exchanged in some high fives and a couple free drinks from admiring fans.

Next day attended Gameday and generally spent a lot of time yelling "Don't believe the Heup-el!" (get it...like a play on words of hype) at random Sooners because who could believe that a skinny QB with a gimmick offense could take down the Cats.  I mean, sure, they worked the Horns the week before...but that was Texas...not a good team.

Timeline of my emotions during game:  :excited:      :ohno:   :shakesfist:   :curse:   :ksu:   :comehere:   :crossfingers:         :runaway:  End of an era.
