yeah, people that believe this stuff aren't really the type of people that have any interest in admitting they might be wrong. I'm reading a book called "Sapiens" right now and I catch myself all the time thinking how wild it is that a very large portion of said Sapiens don't even believe how they got here.

It's gotten so bad that my (once?) very intelligent father is starting to deny the theory of evolution.

Cable "news" should have giant warnings that run constantly across the bottom of the screen 24/7.

We aren't TV watchers and I can't even remember the last network TV show i've watched but my kids started Young Sheldon for some reason and while it def doesn't have me by the balls, I've enjoyed some of the episodes i've watched with them. Georgie is my favorite.

I'm going to the Indy 500 in 2 weeks. Any protips from cats who have been or places to eat in Indy?

I went to the Indy 500 once in the early 90s. They had a parade of celebrities before the race. Fabio was in the parade and David Letterman was the head celebrity.

I sat next to a gentleman who was a big fan of Emerson Fittipaldi. Every time Emerson Fittapaldi drove past us (Like 200 laps or something) this guy would yell "Emuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!". The cars were quite loud though so I am pretty sure Emerson Fittapaldi never heard him.

Seeing cars zip past you at those speeds was pretty cool the first lap or 2.  After that it was just a couple hours of more of the same thing.

Ha, I went to a NASCAR race a long time ago. This exact thing made me LOL the most. People would stand, wave and yell when their favorite driver came by the whole race. It was so weird to me.

Slept right through the one that went from 79th and Lamar to fairway. Pretty pud to call it a tornado.

Slept right through it, but drove down Roe towards PV from SM parkway and holy crap. My neighborhood was clean but at about 60 and Roe I started seeing giant limbs on houses and cars and brush everywhere. It must have just beelined right through that area and mumped crap up while I didn't even have leaves down. Pretty wild.

A great GC thing is the grandparents and other family members that “go live” as soon as our GC game feed ends. I have tons of 15 second videos that are basically this from our game a couple games ago.

From what i've heard, the Chiefs have gotten a ton of emails/calls regarding Butker and I was told they barely got anything from the Hill or Rice situations. LOL if that is true.

SD you have me down a rabbit hole here. 8 sleep almost had me until I saw the required monthly subscription. I'm a hard pass on a $2500 mattress top that also requires a $15 a month subscription. Sleep number has a topper that has decent reviews, but also reviewing the chilipad. Mrs SF is pretty adamant about whatever I get covering both sides since she thinks it would be weird having a top on just half the bed even if she uses the features or not.

Sometimes this bbs saves me monies, sometimes this bbs costs me monies. 

Subscription is only required for year 1. I’ll probably keep paying it though if it’s doing all that good crap rusty talked about though.

I would for sure not hesitate to recommend the chilipad. That’s who made my Ooler and it ruled. Just not enough savings for me to get instead of the 8sleep though.

the sleep number one is a bit cheaper but I don't like the fact that its two separate covers as opposed to one for the whole bed.

I think we're going to Japan next July as a family. Probably stop off in Hawaii on the way there, possibly on the way back too. We'll hire a tour guide for probably a couple of the days to haul us around. pretty stoked.

I've never been terribly interested in international travel, but Japan has always been on my list. Looking forward to copying your exact trip in 3 years.

They have to find a bat somewhere. MJ, Nelly, and Hunter are just killing 3 spots in the lineup. You can't have a third of your lineup sub .200 and expect to continue winning. I'd add Isbel, but he at least play elite CF. I'm guessing they bring up Waters this weekend and someone gets the boot. That isn't much of a boost but they have to try something.

Yep, really hoped MJ could develop, but its getting about time for him to hit the bricks. Renfroe was a terrible signing to begin with. I'd prob keep Nelly around but am indifferent. I'd rather see Waters and Loftin at this point. That probably isn't going to cut it, but you may as well see if they can play.

same on MJ.  He looks to have natural power from each side but WOW did the league figure him out.  Don't see Waters or Loftin being a marked imporvement though

If your kryptonite is simply fastballs a tiny bit outside, MLB hitting is not going to be your thing.

Yep, I've seen a couple here in KC the past week or so. They are just terrible and I'm still amazed anyone thought it was a good idea. Apparently they are having crap tons of issues too.

UPDATE!:

My Ooler started making a weird noise. Pretty sure it's a bearing in the fan or something. Had an incredible run. BUT the good news is I outlasted 8Sleep Pod3 and now they have a Pod4 which I just ordered. Review incoming after it finally gets here in like mid June because they are back ordered AF. I didn't get the bed frame one or mattress, just the cover. I have an elitely comfortable tempur pedic that I'm not bailing on just yet.

Also I did like 10 minutes of googling and the code MEMBERS is the best one and gets you $500 off the 8sleep.

I really value my sleep, but I don't think I value my sleep 3k for a cover. I should def get this though. I'm hot 90% of the time and Mrs SF is cold 100% of the time.

Good news then, it was $2,500 after the $500 off.

I haven't really researched it enough, but is it prob smarter to get one of these thingies that go on the mattress as opposed to getting a mattress that has similar features that will need to be replaced sooner? I guess they probably have similar life cycles.
