So what is the purpose of the tariffs?
1. Tariffs in and of themselves are good for the the US economy.
or
2. They could temporarily hurt the economy and drive up prices and cause a recession but they are a smart component in fighting a drug war against Canada.
or
3. They aren't ready good for the economy, the threat of them is just being used as leverage to get (something??) from our trade partners.
4. They help the dumbass President feel important and literally nothing else.
Elon and dipshit have both said that things will be hard for a while but will eventually be worth it. Whatever reasons anyone attributes to either of them, they know they are going to cause a down turn.Just because????

The only way is if the committee ONLY looks at the NET rating. That's the only measure by which we're a top 16 team. Or, if they factor in Lee's absence (and alleged return) and the fact that we've only lost 1 game in which she's played. That's probably partially why we didn't risk playing her in the Big 12 tourney - that the committee might take that into account. If she went down in 5 minutes against WVU and/or UCF, we don't have that argument any more.
If you look at anything else - primarily our record against Q1 teams (now 2-6), there is zero case that we deserve a top 4 seed. As of today, the only other teams in the top 25 of the NET with 2 Q1 wins or fewer were West Virginia (2 as of today) and Baylor. No other team in the top 16 (as of yesterday) has fewer than 6 Q1 wins.

How are they planning to "study" this? Read the comments section on Facebook or something?I don't have a problem with them looking into vaccine safety all the time. probably wasteful to specifically pick out this MAGA conspiracy theory to look into instead of real stuff though. Counterpoint, maybe it'll help some people stop being anti-vax so even if they know they don't cause autism just going through the exercise will help MAGA kids live longer so that's good.
I don't disagree. Complete agree that the issue is looking at this specific thing that has been debunked over and over just to appease MAGA. Barring a complete disaster, their "study" should come to the same conclusion as the others. The issue will be that they will add some rough ridin' footnote or something that is just off enough to have all of the cult lose their minds and go "seeeeeee, we told you guys!!!!!!!!" while completely ignoring the rest of it saying they are safe and don't cause autism.
The other main issue and the most important piece is that MAGA and anti vaxxers will never admit to being wrong regardless as to what this study says. This has been proven over and over so this study is an even more waste of everyone's time and resources.
