Offensively ksu is looking pretty damn good right now.

My complaint: KSU couldn't consistantly stop KU on third down.

Meh, I'll stay here where the winners are.  Whavethewheat.com definitely sounds like a farming site to me.

just a preference but I would prefer to keep whitehair at LG and have Stiverson play RG.  Keep Rooks at RT.  I believe Stiverson is expected back before Peutz, or at least he should be.  I think both are better than Peutz.

So is Taylor not cut out to play RG?  Or is Stiverson just expected to be that much better, or what?  Seems like the line has been pretty darn productive with Taylor at RG... I don't know, which is why I'm asking

Stiverson beat out Taylor head-to-head and he's been int he program 1/3 of the time.  That should tell you something.  Stiverson is believed to be our mauler and we already have three of them on the field in Lucas, Whitehair, and Finney.   Finney and Whitehair looked like they thoroughly enjoyed mixing it up with OU's defensive tackles.  By the end of the night redshirt freshman Whitehair was planting OU upper classmen DTs on their butts.

Charlie Dickey deserves a huge raise.

1991: KSU 16 KU 12

Is this going to turn into a massive KITN for the conference?

Kansas State Football / Re: Fire Jamie Vaughn Master Thread

Don't know what Jamie Vaughn has done now, but I've heard there are more "minor" football violations on the way thanks to this piece of sheot.

ACC could fix all their stability problems by poaching KU.

Now i'm wishing they would've gone to the ACC, they had options you know.

Your 14 team league has a division with 8 teams

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

You're right.  For the 14 team league scenario, I should have said we'll be in the east division with WVU, FSU, Miami, Clem, GaTech and ISU OR KU.

From your earlier post, I agree that playing in texas less "might" hurt ksu's recruiting in texas, but would you agree that playing 2 teams from florida might open up recruiting more in that state for ksu?   I hope the conference grows to 16 teams but I think ksu will adjust if the Big12 goes to 14.

RENOVATIONS!

Yeah, that isn't the actual luxury section.  It was a mock version to allow people to test it out before they bought season tickets.

K-State has a generic hole in the ground stadium surrounded by a parking lot, and I know deep down inside that it kills you guys.

Ya Beems- you know how we all hate parking lots, dumbass.  And that generic hole in the ground is 10x nicer than memorial, and will be even after your gridiron club gets done in 20 years.

« on: March 25, 2012, 08:23:09 PM »
i heard this same thing about the veto, didn't know he did it face to face.  i heard currie did this because he knew that if leavitt came to ksu as a Dc that he'd have to hire him as head coach when bill retires.  hang in there bill, currie will be fired soon- by slitting his own throat

Kansas State Football / Re: JUST WAIT UNTIL FOOTBALL SEASON SQUAWKS!
« on: February 19, 2012, 01:03:12 PM »
K-State is not a very talented football team.  Well coached.  Talented?  No.  KU is right on par with the K-State and Iowa State's of the world.  Your 85th-ranked recruiting class is pretty hilarious, honestly.

10-2 with these types of recruiting classes is pretty funny isn't it?

5 star quarterback? Can't do much without an O-Line or any receivers to speak of, nor a good backfield, or a coaching staff worth a damn.  I wish the kid well though.

Tanner Hawkinson is the 5th-best right tackle prospect in the country according to Mel BITB Kiper.  Justin McCay = 5-star WR transfer from OU.  Daymond Patterson, J'Corey Shepherd, DJamer Beshears, etc, can all play.  KU has some nice talent to work with.  We really do.

Beems, don't do this to yourself- again

Question- Does anybody think that Miami is going to sit back content with ACC money and let FSU go get even richer without them? My bet is that wherever Florida State goes Miami will follow.

70
confirmed, these guys cant close a game out.

71
Didnt the ACC schools sign some sort of 10 year contract so nobody could leave?

No.  They just have a $20 million buyout.

Gotcha, Big16 would be awesome- with ksu included

South Florida: Sources tell me that Kansas State defensive coordinator Chris Cosh interviewed for the defensive coordinator position with Skip Holtz. I am told Holtz also talked with former Akron defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove.

Cosgrove has to be feeling pretty good about his chances.

Yeah, you might as well say that Cosgrove and some homeless blind guy interviewed for the dc postition. Congrats Cosgrove, dammit

The defense has played well other than having Arthur get toasted by a wide receiver.  If the offense decides to nut up and play the game of football like it's supposed to be played we might have a game.
