Our loss at home to TCU was worse.

Theory: Currie recognizes his miss on bringing back an EMAW last year, fires oscar, brings in Jank.
There is zero reason to believe he will be fired.Agreed. I keep hearing everyone referring to making it to the NCAA tournament as a litmus for Weber keeping his job. Was this part of Weber's contract? Clearly Weber has not progressed the program. In fact some would argue the program has regressed.
I don't think Currie fears firing Weber if necessary. But right now this looks worse for Currie if he does fire Weber after 5 years, after how Martin left. Even as much as I want to see K-State progress, I can also see the need to consider the fiscal side. Right now even if fans boycott next season buy not buying tickets, it would probably be still cheaper to allow that than pay out the remainder of the contract. This reminds me exactly what happened with Travis Ford in Stillwater last year.
USA today has us the first one out. #BubbleLife

I could care less about beating KU. I want rankings, being in the running for confys, and runs in the tourney. KU wins will help, but it doesn't move the needle for me more than any other win.
It might be fun to see KSU lose every game they have left and just see how long Currie can do this.
That, to me, would be more entertaining than wins and a first round NCAA loss or first round NIT loss.
Who would we hire if we fire oscar? Last year, Brad was the obvious choice. There really isn't anyone out there screaming "hire me" right now, though.
I don't care ANYONE.... Hell hire Doug Gottlieb, if there is 5% chance he only an mediocre coach that's 5% more than Oscar..
Yeah, the same team that just beat Kentucky that same week. Great point, PowercatPat!I cannot imagine this team winning another road game.Texas and OU are worse than OSU, so it's definitely possible.
So is Tennessee.

We are a top 25 team and some of you are talking about firing the coach smdh.
How do the refs give us the L today?I'm hoping we have a cushion of four points with 0.06 left
best win is still Omaha (#116)

...they seem to think we're going to win the rest of our home games (and @OU) and finish 20-11 (9-9). the very definition of bubble.
oscar is now 4-25 in conference road games since 2013-14.
That's astounding
