Chum it was funny. It was just a funny thing I saw on Twitter. No biggie.

It also fit in perfectly with my 'all politicians are frauds' worldview.  So, so good.

I'm not sure if pick 6 is a real defense, but i am sure that "all politicians are frauds" is a real defense people use when voting for trump

You're not sure if 'pick 6' is a real defense?

All politicians are frauds. It's a prerequisite.

I mostly agree.

I guess my main issue is that typically the scenario in which someone is saying 'Hitler gained power democratically' is when they are warning that someone they dislike politically is going to do the same.

In reality the set of circumstances for Germany post WWI and barely a decade into a democratic form of government that was under attack from the beginning was incredibly unique circumstance and nothing at all like our current situation or that of many other long tenured democracies.

It would be a very long post.

Basically he lost in his only bid for political office. Yes the Nazi Party had the most representatives in the Reichstag however far from a majority. The only reason Hitler was appointed Chancellor was because of the insistence and backing of the wealthiest industrialists in Germany at the time.  And of course there was nothing democratic about the way he seized dictatorial power after that.

People often forget that the Weimar Republic was only 13 years old when this all happened. It was incredibly feeble to begin with and both the Communists and Fascists were attempting to destroy it from the beginning. It was not an established democracy by any means.

Hitler literally rose to power democratically.

Not really.

I hate that presidential elections are in the Fall. The best time of the year marred by this dumb thing. Elections should be in February or August or some other stupid month everyone hates.

Imagine if KU had lived up to their preseason hype and had only 1 loss or something? The sunflower showdown (presented by Dillons) on Saturday would feature two ranked teams on primetime national TV with GameDay here.

But noooooo, KU just couldn't be normal and do what was expected of them, they had to go an F it all up.

One of the more mind boggling seasons in recent memory. I can't think of one off the top of my head that is more mind boggling.

I'm not proud of it but I love candy corn. I even love the big one's that look like little pumpkins. They have all the makings of something I would hate but I love it.

I hate Missouri. Can't wait to move. Trying to figure out where I can go to vote early has been a nightmare here in Jackson County. Just make the information easily available on the website. OH wait we live in the United States where voter suppression still exists. Should be a law that this information should be posted by a certain date in every state. Send a mailer out in mail in the districts to your registered voters... Not that hard.

Greg, voting is incredibly easy. Just figure it out omg.

After 40 years of not being a morning person I'm trying to become a morning person. Mixed results so far.

I love raisins on their own but hate them in cookies.

Incredibly mildly interesting!

I used to hate pistachios. Refused to eat them.

But now I love pistachios. My wife buys them at Sam's Club and I eat tons.

My first trip to Boulder:

-The atmosphere at Folsom was great.
-I couldn't really see any traditions that were fun though. It was loud when good stuff happened but nothing that I thought was cool or different. Dunno.
-The stadium itself not so great.
-I guess Memorial isn't the only stadium utilizing port-a-potty technology.
-There is definitely a tension between fans in this stadium I haven't experienced before. Although we chatted with many CU fans around us that were perfectly friendly.
-The fight you might have seen on Twitter was in the section next to us. We didn't have any bad run ins with fans. Just a lot of people shouting things from a distance. The funniest of which was probably 'you'd have to be a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) to live in Manhattan KS.'  :dunno:
-Pearl Street was kind of disappointing. We went both Friday night (fine) and after the game Saturday. (everything was closed)
-Overall a fun trip made even better by the W.

I will be at this game. Consider me that meme where the army guy is standing and protecting the kid in bed from all the bullets and bombs and stuff except it's me protecting Avery from hepatitis needles and urine bottles or whatever.

Adding Brown Sugar and Butter. I assume to go along with the oatmeal. I wish she had something with cinnamon in there so I could just eat breakfast.

Also I noticed one of the conditioners says 'vegan recipe' on it.  (??)
